Lasko CC18306 Black 1500W 2 Speed, Remote, Timer, Thermostat Ceramic Console Space Heater

Works great and heats my whole up level of my house.

I have purchased ONLY Lasko fans and heaters for our family (and for gifts outside our family) since 1975. I estimate that includes nearly 30 items. Each item has met or exceeded my expectations and not even one item has ever failed. They are an outstandingly well-managed company. 🙂

I bought this heater for my son's hallway and room, he is furthest from the central unit and in the bitter cold I wanted a boost for that area. It is so so QUIET we have been very impressed by that. We are using it for a 12x12 room plus a small hall area (maybe 4x6) and it has done an amazing job even in sub zero temperatures. I definitely recommend. The only thing I worry about is that my son has tipped it when he walked by and it did not shut off. Something to consider in a pet/child household.

I bought two of these units to help with heating our living room in winter time to supplement our fire place. We have a really high roof and an open concept living and dining area. The heaters do the job but they do not blow out air very strongly and they supplement the fireplace but they would not do the job alone at all. If you're getting this for a large area look elsewhere,

Small heater, big attitude. This little guy cranks heat like it's got something to prove—even in my tiny house with one-sided electric heat and cathedral ceilings. Only gripe? Nowhere to stash the cord. End result: this Boston mama, the dog, and the cat are wicked warm and living like butter. 🧈🔥

I've always liked Lasko heaters but this one is a let down. It gets hot but the heat just lingers near the unit. By "Whole room" they must mean a very tiny room because the fan hardly pushes any air out. The only good part is the remote works well. My advice: keep looking for a better heater.

I only bought this Lasko unit because the Honeywell I was looking for was sold out. And with this brutally cold winter, I we needed something. What a waste! I would have been better off taking the shade off a lamp and holding the hot bulb under the wife's feet to warm her faster. Do not believe the hype. It has not heated any room besides the bathroom. And that's with the door closed, nobody going in or out to break the stream and even set at 90 degrees, it never once digitally got above 70. Other than that, it's a fine machine.

The heater worked fine for about two months. I turned it on 65° and went to bed around 2am (woke up and it was chilly) at 8am I woke up and went into the room it was in and found it melted!!! It could have caught my home on fire and I had my kid in it we all could have died!!! The heater was never tipped over and it sat in the middle of the floor with nothing around it. Yes the pictures shows things around it simply because I moved it to take pictures.

We bought 2 of these heaters to heat our house. It states that these have a tip over trigger switch that shuts it off when it falls over… IT DOES NOT!!!! Thank GOD I was home and able to smell the plastic melting before my house caught fire… the heater ended up getting tipped over (kids and pets that's not an unlikely outcome WHICH IS WHY WE BUY HEATERS WITH TIP OVER SWITCHES!) This heater was face down and STILL RUNNING! I don't know how long it was like that since we were enjoying family time in the living room and this was on the other side of the house… but it should have turned off the moment it tipped… IT DID NOT!!! If you want to trust it in a house with no possibility of it tipping… go right ahead… but if you expect it to shut off when it gets knocked over it won't… the second one we bought doesn't shut off when tipped either! Such a waste of money AND A FIRE HAZARD! Would give negative stars if I could!

Im pretty sure the product is fine but I think I may just have gotten a dud, as soon as I plugged it in for the first use something inside popped and never worked, shipping was resllly fast though
