Lasko CT22850 Black 1500W 3 Speed, Oscillating, Remote, Timer Ceramic Tower Space Heater

This winter seemed colder for us. This amazing heater didn't make us bundle up with the usual winter throws any more. Fifteen minutes and our entire very cold room was actually warm. We never had a space heater before and we now wish we had bought this year's ago.

This is the best ceramic heater I have ever bought. Small and compact; warms up my small living room area quickly and saves on me having to use the furnace. Still having a hard time when setting it for specific degrees and did notice it does not oscillate during that feature. It only oscillates for high-medium-low selections.

Well designed with a remote that can hang on the top rear of the unit when not in use. The power cord is adequate in length. Lots of time options and temperature settings. Packed securely and was not damaged in shipping. We used this in the attic when we were not above freezing for 72 hours to keep our hot water heater water supply line from freezing and it did the job!

Arrived the next day. So quiet I've already walked over and put my hand in front of it to see if it was on.. absolutely love this heater! Heats my entire living room and kitchen. The remote control is awesome!! Gets too warm just hit a button! So happy I ordered this 22" oscillating heater plus many functions I haven't learned them all yet but it throws the heat, doesn't take up space etc..

Absolutley amazing! I moved into a new apartment that has two huge patio doors causing a cold draft so I got this lovely stand heater that allows me to feel more comfortable. It'll be much better once I seal the doors for winter, but for now I will keep using this heater that does a fantastic job. From 3 different speed setting, a timer for auto shut off, if you don't want to use the speed settings (which that's how I run mine) you can choose the temperature that you'd like it to get up too and it will shut off until the temperature drops again; however, for this setting to really work like it should, the heater should be used in a smaller room in order to reach that temperature. This is why I run mine on H3, for this heater, in a large room, cannot reach the temp of 74. In my bedroom, which is a smaller area, there isn't an issue. The other thing I fell in love with is the fact that it oscillates. I highly recommend this heater, for the price, you won't regret it.

low power 5000w, but not so bad if you have other high demand appliance that can blow fuses. Twice the value price in my opinion. IR Remote, so you must have line of site. Oscillation is so minute it shouldn't be listed as oscillation. if placed in front of a door, it oscillates from left side to right side of entry. Very light weight, so not an issue to move around. Sturdy on thick carpet. Short power cord. This unit is made for a small room.

For the features that it promised, the oscillating feature didn't really matter because the heater was not as powerful as it seem like it should be, it took way too long to move the thermostat at one or 2° in a small bedroom. The only good feature was the timer with the remote. I would give it about a three out of five stars would probably work better when the temperature outside is probably in the forties to 60° but below that it just seemed like it didn't really help take the chill off a room.

Bought this heater based on the great reviews. Yes, it looks nice, it is very quiet, and it heats well. HOWEVER, when I unplugged it after trying it out only for about 30 minutes, the plug blades were EXTREMELY hot. With the overheat safety protection feature, it SHOULD have shut itself off, but it didn't. Based on all the other reviews, I guess I was the "lucky" recipient of a defective one. Returning because I won't feel safe using it.

Faulty unit. It turned on but kept cutting off after a few minutes of use, then it just shut off and would not turn back on. I understand sometimes this can happen, but the way it was packaged, it seemed like it may have been a return. Not happy with the inconvenience of having to return it and finding something different.

This was the worst experience of delivery I've had with the driver delivering it to the house next-door and then one of the heaters I ordered was not delivered so he only delivered one out of two that I ordered where's the other one? So then when I had to go through the goat rope of calling Walmart, they were supposedly gonna call back. They never did so. I had to go call somebody else who has a completely thick accent that I can't understand and he's telling me he can't send the heater right out here right now I have to get a refund and that takes 10 freaking days so guess what we're in the refund process so I'm going back to Amazon.
