White Noise Haven and feeling cool at last.
This fan is wonderful. Easy to assemble and came packaged well. Shipped surprisingly fast and handled well. Now to the fan, The fan makes noise but it's like a white noise sound which is great for people who need sound to sleep. I got this fan because I had an older version of the fan and loved that one. I hope this one lasts as long as the older version of it. My last one lasted for ten years. I would recommend especially since summer is on its way.

Very good performance, but turn-switch awkward
This fan is white and oscillates, if you want it to. Excellent control over speed. My only reason for four stars not five is that the turn-switch on the pedestal is hard to use because, if one turns it and does not hold the fan steady with one's other hand, the fan will move or fall over. (The fan is not heavy enough to allow easy use of that switch.) This problem can be sidestepped with a switched outlet or other remote switch if the fan speed is rarely adjusted.

The one i got is defective and dose now work right but dont let my review keep you from buying it its a good fan so get one

not as powerful as I wanted
I was hoping for a fan that was more powerful than the one I have — but this one is less powerful! I suggest buying a much cheaper mainstays.
