Lavazza Opera Intenso Ground Coffee, Dark Roast, Arabica and Robusta Blend, 12 oz Bag

A connoisseur of great blends, and will always strive for affordability. Lavazza is hands down the best quality versus cost. When I tried 'Intenso' for the first time I couldn't believe I missed out on this obscure blend. Tried most of the others, now this one is my fav. Not too bold, but rich with chocolate notes.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely love this coffee! It has a bold, dark, full body. It's strong but smooth tasting. The packaging is easy to open and reseal to keep fresh. It's ground perfectly for a drip maker or press. It really is a great coffee!

The blend was a little stronger than I like so I brought it to work. They love the rich and strong taste and have almost finished the bag.

Lavazza is hands-down, the best brand you can get for espresso, beans or a ground. The packaging ensures freshness when you open it and the smell and aroma hit you as you open the package. This has a intense espresso flavor with slight hints of chocolate. You can actually taste the dark richness of the coffee, with not too many hints of other notes. To me, this is the only way to drink espresso as a dark intense roast so you can actually taste the richness of the beans. I have an espresso machine and I place these grounds and just push go and make a double shot for myself every day. It tastes even better when you make it in a French press ! I really have no notes for this espresso. Perfection. Any other brand is a waste of money in my opinion

The acidity is low and smooth which makes it easy to drink despite the intensity. For the quality and amount you get the value is great.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a coffee machine that takes pods so I loaded this in my reusable pod as I would any other coffee. I really enjoy the intense dark flavor (if you like really dark chocolate you’ll love this) and it’s not too heavy as you would assume. The acidity isn’t too bad and overall this was a really nice cup of coffee. If you don’t like the sort of standard taste someone can expect from the “dark” roast category you can still doctor this up however you want with flavorings of some kind and I think this would be amazing. Love it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Super super dark roast with a hint of chocolate this coffee hit the mark. It comes finely ground up and has some really tasty ingredients. Good value for the money and a go to coffee company in our household. The bag was super fresh when we cracked into it and the aftertaste was as good as the first sip.
