LeapFrog Fridge Phonics Magnetic Letter Set

Simple to use. Good magnets. Sturdy. My 20 month old figured it out immediately with very little help. Straightforward and clear, naming the letter, giving its sounds, and putting a word that starts with the sound in a sentence. She's started being super interested in the alphabet and it's nice to have something that says them without me. Fantastic price. It cost me the same just for normal magnetic letters (126 of them, but still)

We have had the previous models of this toy for both my daughter (16) and son (8). We saw how it gave them a great foundation with letter sounds, allowing them to learn to read early by phonetically deciphing the words. Now that we're adopting an 18 month old, I was glad to see that the toy was still being manufactured. I was also glad to hear they changed the ABC song, the new one is far less annoying. I highly recommend this product. It really allows kids to gain a great foundation for readings with a toy they don't tire if as quickly as others of its type.

My mom saw this at her second job and thought it be great for my son. He loves it almost 2 learning his letters and such already this has helped him go further! Only complaint is walmart used such a big box for such a little thing.. could saved shipping costs with a smaller box. But all in all no complaints about the toy!

My son loves this bus!!! He can take the letters in and out easily as well listen to the sound(s) the letter makes, a word that starts with the letter and that same word used in a sentence. Plus it plays the ABC song and the wheels on the bus. Worth every single penny.

This was a favorite learning toy for my grandson, and he loved playing with it at Grandma's house from the time he could stand to age 5. Made learning his ABCs fun and fast. He loved it so much that we had the same toy at the other grandparent's house AND with mom/dad.

My daughter has a thing for magnets and she was constantly wanting to be lifted up so she could pull the magnets off the fridge. Got this leap frog magnet letter set - and she has her own set of magnets. The musical base is a plus! Also the magnetic parts are completely closed in. This is good for my 1 year old who still loves to put things in her mouth. I would recommend this to others !!

I bought this for my son for Christmas. He's 15mths and he loves playing with this. It sings the wheels on the bus and abc's which is nice and it makes the songs of each letter. It's easy to switch out the magnetic letters on the bus and it holds very well on the fridge.

Good toy to Introduce the alphabet. My son loves the songs my only complaint would be that it slides down the fridge sometimes as if the magnets are losing strength.

As I read in someone else's review, the sound is very clear. My son loves it. For me though, it sings the same little tune for each of the 26 letters and it's the same song as a Leapfrog game I got for my sons years ago and I'm already sick of hearing it.

Only purchased this because I needed replacement letters for an older Leal Frog fridge phonics set and unfortunately the letters are smaller. I looked for the letter size before ordering but couldn't find one so took a gamble and lost. Ugh. Why do manufacturers do this?
