I bought it for my 2nd grade granddaughter who is learning about telling time so she can more easily do her math homework. It works great showing how the hour hand moves as the minute hand is approaching the next hour.

A fantastic product for teaching the analogue clock. Start with setting the clock at 12.00 o'clock, then 2.00 o'clock etc. Once they recognise 'o'clocks' you can the move onto half pasts. The gears place the small hand in the correct position as the minute hand is moved round. Then move onto 1/4 pasts etc.

This mini clock is the perfect size.

I was surprised at how small it is, but as it turns out it is a perfect size for their little hands. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because the stand on the back keeps falling off.

The clock was colorful. However, it was very tiny. I was under the impression that it would be larger.
