Learning Resources Jumbo Jungle Animals, Preschool Learning Toy, Gifts for Boys Girls, Ages 18 Months +

So happy to find Learning Resources products available through Walmart. These animals are sturdy, realistic, and interesting to kids, both young and old. The jungle animals were a gift for a toddler, and they had the same quality as the Learning Resources Farm Animals that I'd given my own kid years ago. These animal sets are fun for many years for kids and are still durable enough to pass down to the next kid or cousin.

I've purchased several of the jumbo animals, and this set did not disappoint. The size is just right for a 19 month old and an almost 3 year old to both enjoy playing with them...they never go in mouths...no choking hazards...nice and bright...good detail...fun to have...would highly recommend...

I got this for my 2 year old son (then) and love how big and durable this set is! So realistically and fun to play'! I got this set for my nephew for his 3rd bday since I know he will enjoy it too. Definitely a great buy!

My grandson has just turned three and he is a little late on speaking. He is just saying a few words and he knows several of the five animals in the set. I received today and gave it to him as a pre-Christmas gift. He has now been playing with them for several hours and even trying to say the names of those he didn't know. I like that they are large enough that there is no need to worry about the toys getting lodged in his throat. The write-up on each animal is excellent in getting the child to understand. The elephant appears to be his favorite. He calls it "Fant". But we will keep working with him till we get the "ele" in front. This wonderful learning resource is great for 2 to 4 yr old and even beyond.

My 3 year old granddaughter loved to play with all of the animals. I would like to see pairs of animals with offspring.

My 2 year old daughter absolutely LOVES this grouping of animals. The giraffe, which is quite huge, is a family favorite. Great toys to reinforce learning animal names and sounds.

My grandson already had the dinosaur set that this company made so i knew he would be very excited to have this one,too! He loves playing with the all! Just like with the dinosaurs the jungle animals are so very realistic and the perfect size for his little 4 year old hands. The elephant is very beautiful and detailed. The giraffe, which is quite big, is his favorite. I only wish there were more animals in the set so that he could have an entire zoo! They are so good for interactive visual learning. He plays with them for hours a day and wants to take them with him everywhere he goes and the box they come in makes this easy to do. And he loves getting them all together so that they can play with each other. My husband and I plan on getting him more of the other animal sets that Learning Resources makes!

These toy animals are big and the kids enjoy playing with them. they are nothing fancy just big plastic animals. There are five animals in the box the tallest being the giraffe at 13", also included is a lion, tiger, gorilla and elephant. They can be a considered an educational tool for older kids, there is an activity guide included that gives facts about each animal. There are no batteries needed or remotes just the Childs imagination but is a good addition to my 2 yr old grandsons toy collection. I think any child who likes zoo animals will enjoy playing with these big jungle animals, they are light weight and safe enough for a 2 yr old. I would recommend to a friend.

I have the Learning Resources Jumbo Dinosaurs and Jungle Animals. The Dinosaurs look much better. The paint job on them look much closer to the ones on the box and seem better built. The paint job on the Jungle Animals was very poor. The Tiger is very bright red orange and the white markings on the face are poorly done. The Lion just had a brown face, it too was poorly done. The giraffe was too tall for the box and the elephant was too wide. The giraffes head was bent downward because it was in the corner. The elephant has a large dent in the back that I can't fix. The gorilla was ok, but it was made out of black plastic anyway. It does come with a 2 page booklet. It contains some facts about each animal and some discussions suggestions. Even with its faults, it was for a three year old, and she really didn't care what they looked like. She plays with all of them but she loves the giraffe the best.
