Learning Resources Pretend and Play Teaching Cash Register with Canadian Currency

My kids have really enjoyed learning about money - about purchasing, making change and using coins and bills - with this great educational toy. It has fun educational games they can use, and is sturdy and entertaining. It has been a great addition to their imaginative play (they run a pretend shop and bakery), and has helped with identifying coin types. I love that you can get it with US or CA currency, and that it has various volume settings. A great and useful product in educating my kids. Thanks!

The cash register is fun and easy to use. It is a quality toy, and is very durable. My son will spend hours playing with it. I love that it is great for young kids who are learning about what money is to older kids who are learning more about money management and handling.

This is a really fun instructional toy. It is realistic and is engaging. There is a problem with the drawer hitch though. Yes, the drawer will close, so it seems everything is fine, but once you put batteries in it, you will notice the real problem. It doesn't latch tight enough, so the digital display and the instructional programs won't actually run because it wants you to close the drawer. You have to hold it in to make it work. My sister in law had the same problem. The company replaced hers, and they have been providing good service to me so far, but I suspect the replacement set will have the same problem. Too bad, because it is pretty cool. I would recommend it, but be sure to open it, test it (with batteries) to be sure it works before giving it to your kid.

Bought this for my granddaughter about a year ago. She loved it and used it all the time. It was a great learning toy. About 11 months later the register started to read the wrong coins and give the wrong answers. I contacted the company and in less than a week they had shipped us a brand new one that works great. It really is a great toy, and with electronics you have to expect glitches sometimes, but this company does a great job of design as well as service. Very happy!

This register seems nice we havent had a chance to play with it yet. The website shows American currency in the picture but it has Canadian currency. I would have liked to have American instead but thats an easy fix.
