Learning Resources Steggy the Fine Motor Dino Color Recognition Toy for Ages 18 Months and Up

At first glance, this dinosaur seems like it might be more geared towards the 18 month end of this age group, HOWEVER - I will say I was pleasantly surprised at how much we were able to do with this dinosaur. It develops hand eye coordination, motor skills, color learning, number learning, matching, and more! We have been using it currently with my 2.5 year old to start learning numbers. When she can't figure out the number, we say it together, and trace the feeling of the number with our finger to help us learn. This is adorable, a way to learn and play together, and something that continues to develop with your child as they grow. Don't pass this one up - use it for all it's worth!

It's cute and helps to improve fine motor skills. It causes him to think. I like that it can hold the pieces so that there is less a chance for the pieces to get lost. I also like that there are different colors because, as he gets older, he can group the different colors together. Would definitely recommend to parents or caregivers who wants a product for their child to learn how to put things in their place and practice their fine motor skills.

Steggy the Fine Motor Dino is adorable! My 3 year old son and 19 month old daughter loves it. It is a great way to learn colors, fine motor skills with inserting the pieces into the holes, and numbers. My son liked to do patterns with the pieces whereas my daughter liked to remove the pieces and try to put them back. And it has a place to store the pieces away keeping it all together?! SCORE. This mama is happy with this and can't wait to get so much more use out of it!

I have an autistic twin who enjoyed the sorting aspect and we also did math problems with the numbers provided. I was speaking with a couple occupational therapist, and I suggested this product to the memory care facility because I believe it helps with tactile development/redevelopment and easy bright colors to see

This little dinosaur is absolutely the cutest! My toddler stays occupied playing with this dinosaur. This helps my toddler with colors, motor skills, and opening and closing. I love that you're able to put they keys inside and lock it (my toddler is teething and loves to throw them everywhere). I highly recommend this item.

My son is 2 1/2 and he was so excited to open it and he knew right away where to put the pegs in the slide holes in the top!! This is a good learning source for children

I received this toy in exchange for a review. My 4 year old and 19 month old both enjoyed playing with this toy! I appreciated the playing suggestions - ie, what color is missing, count the colors. My 19 month old really enjoys putting the colors in the slots. I will say though, after a few times of playing with it both were a little bored with it. I think it is a cute educational toy that a preschool may be able to do different activities with but as a parent it's not a must have.

I really like this toy because my son spends a lot of time with it. But my issue is that is not made with good quality. Especially the back side panel where you store the spikes it's hard to close. I was given a sample in exchange for my feedback.

I received this toy for free from BzzAgent in exchange for an honest review. I have an 18 month old granddaughter and thought she'd love this. The toy is a good size. It was much easier for her to take the plates out than to reinsert them. She becomes frustrated when she has trouble getting them back in. I do wish the numbers on them were easier to read. She enjoyed the toy for a few minutes but once it became hard for her to master, she got bored and moved on.

This is a cute dino. Easy and fun for very small little ones. Being able to store the pieces inside is definitely a bonus. The product just seems to be cheaply made and the numbers on the scales can be hard to see.
