I got it on sale and it's an excellent addition to Leatherman tools that allows you to add 1/4 inch bits and ratcheting to your arsenal
Arrived fast and works as it should.
solid build. enjoyable to carry and fiddle with. great for edc and small projects
Everything leatherman does is top stuff
Excellent quality
So far, so good, but what's the fix for my Surge bit holder? The spring is weak and doesn't like to hold on to any of the bits by themselves, much less the ratchet driver. Sure hope I don't have to send my Leatherman across the country to have this repaired.
Pleased with the ratchet driver so far! Very helpful for driving screws in tight confines. Proved itself in extracting a few rusty two inch screws. Have it with me almost every day. Was hoping for a gadget like it for years. A little concerned about long-term durability but no issues yet. (Now wondering about a stout socket wrench ratched driver, maybe as a stand alone multitool...)
Since getting my hands on the ratcheting bit extension to pair with my Charge+ TTi and ALL the bits, I've used these tools on almost every job, from working on my truck, to metal roofing, to cabinetry. I'm thrilled to have these tools as part of my EDC.
This is a great addition, Smooth fine ratcheting mechanism. I can't coment on longevity obviously, since it is so new. I gave it 4 stars only because of the plastic collar used to switch between forward reverse and lock. It's such a good product it seems silly to cheap out on one part.
Seems like a quality item. One design improvement could be that the ratchet actually works with the bits that Leatherman sells and issues with some of their multi tools. Those are the bits that I have in my holster. I would prefer not to have to carry a second set of hex shaped bits to work with the ratchet.
