The bit extender is probably the best tool that you never knew you needed. My only complaint is that the the bits can skmetimes be tricky to remove from the extender tip...that said, I abuse my wave tool so it's likely from the bit being torqued on. Overall, very happy with the extender

Thanks for a great tool in the Wave + . It gets a five star. Carry it everywhere. The recently purchased bit adapter/extender doesn't quite come up to Wave standards in my view. Two beefs are: excessive play/slop between the bit and receiver and no magnetic end to hold bits secure. It can definitely be used as is but I expected to see closer tolerances in the fit and any bit holder should have a magnetic end. Thanks for hearing my views, Noel

The bit driver does what it's suppose to do...but I feel that being it proprietary, it's far to expensive. Especially when combined with the need to upgrade the sheath. I think the basic sheath should come with the pockets for tools. That should be enough to encourage accessory sales. Also, I ordered what I thought would be basically the same sheath that came with the Wave except with pockets, but it turns out to be so big that it's a better fit for my Surge. My Wave with the accessories just flops around in the sheath and is very annoying.

Simply put, it works. It works well for what it is, and the Customers Service ladies have been very nice when I've called. It just seems that over $20, once you add shipping, is a bit(no pun intended) pricey for this piece. It works, but not that well.

Seller sent a simple alien tool insted of the bit driver extender. This may be some kind of joke.

I recently ordered a Surge and but extender. (No. 549223). I opened my order yesterday and tried our the extender. I put the surge bit into the extender and the but locked in place and cannot be removed. Both bit and extender are now mostly ruined! I regret my purchase.
