Leemone AER1 HEPA Filter Replacement for Air Purifier, 2 True HEPA Filters + 4 Carbon Booster Filters

This was exactly what I have been looking for! My air purifier is fairly old, %26 I needed a new filter %26 the black sponge piece to replace an old one. However, they have become somewhat hard to find, %26 are too expensive when I do find them. These were not packaged in a commercially-designed box, but came in a plastic bag, put in a cardboard shipping box w/bubble padding %26 mailer. The price wasn't bad, %26 I ordered two. Will definitely order again, both for me, %26 for my mom, who has almost the exact same air purifier and needs a new filter %26 sponge, too. I wish the air purifiers used an easily washable filter %26 sponge, rather than disposable, one-time-use, non-washable ones, to prevent the added expense to replace them and the added waste to the environment. Mom %26 I both have many environmental allergies %26 respiratory illnesses, so the HEPA air purifier does help. Neither of us smoke or have pets, but the high humidity this year has caused a nasty, musty, wet odor in my condo. The new filter, some DampRid units in different rooms, %26 some Lysol disinfectant anti-mold/mildew spray helped a lot! In the pictures, you'll see I got 2 filters %26 4 of the black pieces. In the 3rd pic, you'll see the black pieces sent are NOT like the black sponge piece that was in the air purifier. So far, it seems ok, but I'm not sure exactly what those pieces do, so I can't say for sure. They are very thin, %26 almost like a firm felt.

Purchased on Friday and received it in 2 days, fast shipping! Fits my Holmes Aer1 Air Purifier(purchased around 2020-2022 can't remember) .

The air filters slid in perfectly. The charcoal filter is a better quality than the original one, required a pair of scissors and about two minutes of my time, very happy how it came out.

The filters obviously work, and I like that it has two smaller black filters for each larger white filter to help prolong the larger filter's lifespan a bit.

I have been looking for this exact filter and knew that it would be very expensive. I wasted so much time looking for the right type for my air purifier…until I came to Walmart! I got it for a wonderful price and didn’t even have to read too deep to find out what kind it was. It got delivered and I was so relieved it fit perfectly. Also, I finally breathe in fresh air. Is this what an easy day looks like?!

When you have a compromised immune system, suffer from respiratory conditions (including pet dander, allergies, etc.) or are just virus and bacteria conscious, like me (Retired RN), who battles MS with immunocompromised health), this is perfect. It is slender (fits anywhere), quiet, and the validation on what the air sanitizing qualities are (zaps/kills active virus/bacteria in the air) evident when checking the carbon top filter. I have two other air sanitizers (they are not filters just "zappers") and two (smaller/compact) Hepa Filter units that run 24/7). All this in a 460 sq ft apt. due to my inability to receive vaccinations (I wear custom silk masks when I know I should). I have remained COVID free with the aforementioned preventive actions; this is the best full-size unit thus far. If you properly take care of your unit (check your filters frequently), it will certainly take care of you.

The Filters came in a 2pk but one of the filters was damaged i guess from shippment Would be nice if you send me another filter😁

According to the U.S. D.O.E "HEPA is a type of pleated mechanical air filter. It is an acronym for "high efficiency particulate air [filter]" (as officially defined by the U.S. Dept. of Energy).  This type of air filter can theoretically remove at least 99.97% of dust, pollen, mold, bacteria, and any airborne particles with a size of 0.3 microns (µm). The diameter specification of 0.3 microns corresponds to the worst case; the most penetrating particle size (MPPS). Particles that are larger or smaller are trapped with even higher efficiency. Using the worst case particle size results in the worst case efficiency rating (i.e. 99.97% or better for all particle sizes)."  This filter is not Doing a good job of even filtering dust particles large enough to see (check out the photos I took of the part of my Holmes air purifier where the air exits, and inside). Not only is *Dust large enough to see, getting through the filter, but the"Carbon pre filters" don't fit the Holmes air purifier on the outer area to catch larger dust and debris, as it says it will (check out the screenshot I took of the product description). The black " carbon filters" are way too small (see photos).

Item was recieved defective. Poor quality, would NOT recommend
