living in the Hawaiian jungle we survive on catchment water. it is harvested from the roof of our homes or other structures to a large above ground tank which is then pumped into our homes. as such, filtration is a necessity. the difference in taste of the water that goes through this filter is incredible!!! I have tried every filter out there and this one wins hands down! I highly recommend it. it comes with a handy little calendar that attaches to the body of the container when moistened.

Have been using this product for years. It has never disappointed me. Filters are easy to prepare for use and screws in easily to pitcher. Water tastes great. Our city water will gag you, and this fixes the problem.

Does a great job of making the water taste and smell better. I trust it's also making the water more healthy by removing bad stuff. I get 2 months per filter. I use it for drinking water and cooking. It's easy to change in the Pur pitcher.

I am very picky about water filtration taste. I think this one does a great job of removing the nasty city-chlorine taste. It's not quite on the level of bottled water, but it is the next best thing!

Due to chronic illness in our home we have to filter the water and there is a lot of chemicals the city uses to purify the water that can make us ill, so this helps with the smell as well as the taste. The water taste clean, the filter is easy enough to change, and it seems to fit well and does not leak.

PUR water is far better than tap water and as good as bottled, plastic being a consideration. Though the price for 1 filter keeps going up, which is a detriment.

3 star because the filter cost has noticeably creeped up in the past year. I do like %26 keep a PUR water container in my fridge. I make my brewed tea from this filtered water, drink it and my little dog loves the cold water. No odor like tap water. Just a nice, filtered clean tasting water. Mine last approximately 3 months between filter replacements with just myself and a little dog.
