These are the best option! I have bought the cheap knock offs, some work, some don't. Pur water filters always work best! I would never use any other brand, knowing what i know now! fast filtering, matter of minutes its all ready to go! Price isn't bad all things considered.
Always like it when my water tastes fresh and these filters do that job wonderfully. I never buy bottled water because I don't like how the bottles make the water taste. In my opinion water shouldn't actually have a "taste". PUR does that and I know I save money by using my pitcher. In these economic times, saving some $$ is also a good thing.
I have a Beautiful water pitcher that uses this filter. I have been using this for a while and can taste the difference from plain tap water. It ‘s very simple to replace and now I am most familiar with replacing it. I would definitely buy another one upon replacing this pitcher.
I use this filter because the tap water from older plumbing has a noticeable off smell when it's unfiltered. It's not subtle, and it makes drinking it unpleasant enough that filtering is just necessary. On smell, this is the main improvement. It removes that musty, metallic, slightly stale odor that can come from older pipes and leaves the water neutral. Not “enhanced,” just clean-tasting enough that you don't notice it anymore. In terms of reliability, it performs consistently. There aren't random swings where the water suddenly tastes off again. It steadily works until it reaches the end of its life, then the performance drops gradually rather than failing all at once. Removal is simple. It pops in and out of the pitcher without effort or fiddling, which makes routine replacement easy to stay on top of. For tap water, the difference is immediate. It doesn't turn it into something fancy, but it removes the unpleasant odor and makes it normal enough to drink without thinking about it. Overall: dependable, easy to use, and effective at fixing bad-smelling tap water from older plumbing.
I use this simple water filter system for cooking and water for drinks ( coffee, instant tea, Gatorade) Helps me use less plastic bottled water, which is heavy for seniors. Also, better for pets.
I LOVE this water filter system because where I live we have HARD water that makes the water taste gross 🤢. but with the PUR water filter system my tap water like water use to taste growing up. just a nice clean water.
Wouldn't Do without these! They keep ALL the BAD things out of our drinking and cooking water. I ONLY use PUR Brand because the cost is reasonable and They Work! A
only filter I use. friends ask what I do to my coffee and tea to make it taste so good. I just smile and say "filtered water". Been using pur since my children were born. Now that they're grown they're using them too!
My drinking water is from a Culligan filter pitcher; the Culligan filters are pricey and tap water where I live is undrinkable so, to get the most from the Culligan filters, I first filter tap water through a PUR filter, then I pour the PUR filtered water through the Culligan filter, and the pricey Culligan filter lasts longer - thanks to the PUR filtered water, works for me!
i have a zero water and a pur, i have a tester and the pur test the same out out of my faucet at 213 and the zero water test 0 along with i teated a bottle of purified water to make sure my tester worked, i bought a pack of 4 and 3 of them tested the same out of my faucet so i ordered a single feom walmart just to see if maybe i got scammed with the 4 pack same results, i teied contacting pur to fix this problem or quit lying to the consumer about there product filtering tap water and to no surprise they have not contacted me back, buy what you want but i will not support pur and stick with my zero water, hope this helps not waste your money, buy a tester or buy the zero water it comes with one free!
