Customer Insights: Rated 4.3/5 from 160 reviews.
It arrived on time it was the correct item. So excellent.
The highly flexible hose is easy to maneuver. The spray nozzle took some experimenting to learn how to use. The spigot adapter helps to connect the hose to the water spigot. Customer service was quick to respond when I emailed them with questions. One downside is the light color definitely gets dirty and the matte texture of the hose means it will stay dirty. It's only aesthetics and doesn't impact its function.
This is the second garden hose I've bought %26 it truly is a great hose. I wanted it because it said it doesn't kink %26 you know it does it's best not to. I may have encountered 1-2 kinks in the couple of years that I had it but we had some construction done %26 workers used it very harshly until it started leaking at the faucet %26 at the nozzle. Too much tugging %26 cement %26abuse. Ugh
I do not have trouble with it kinking, easy to handle, and light weight. Some people complain that the nozzles come off. Not supper if they know that they slide into the hose end and then you let go of the pull back to lock into place? I have not had any troubles with mine, but I do know that if you are not inserting your ends correctly and make sure they are locked in place, they will pop off. I like that you can easily change attachments with one quick slide to pop them on and off!! I also like the color. You can't mistake where the hose is when mowing the lawn!
I recently used a family member's Flexzilla, and immediately wanted my own, but figured it would be too pricey. Surprisingly, it wasn't much more than what I had been using, (a 'Garden Expert' that was the stuff of nightmares- turning simple tasks into near impossible challenges, thus causing me to want to rip my own hair out). Enter Flexzilla. I think I heard angels sing as I made the switch and trashed the old one. The Flexzilla literally unravels itself, so there are no annoying kinks I have to fight with (before, during, and after watering). It's lightweight and a breeze to move around my yard, while still being heavy duty, with great pressure... and reeling it back up takes mere seconds. Plus, it works well with my weed and fertilizer hose end sprays. No leaks! Simply put, I recommend it. It checks all the boxes for ease of use, quality, and price.
The safety green color is not ideal, but believe me the quality is worth it!! Not only does it come with its own hose holder, but it comes with multiple quick-connect attachments and an adjustable spray nozzle that doesn't have a handle, so it won't break! Just like it says, it will not kink when it's filled with water, and the automatic water stop when switching nozzles is fantastic. Definitely worth a try if you don't like the deflatable/shrinking style hoses!
Kinks up a little more than I'd like it to. But unravels quickly. Seems like strong tubing material so far. Sprayer is powerful. Quick release hose nozzle. Not any different hose sprayer settings like “sprinkle” or “spray” on sprayers that you can twist to different modes. It doesn't have that. But you can still adjust the sprayer so the water comes out at different pressures. Comes with a plastic hanger to loop through the hose to hang up.
I purchased this house in the fall. So I have not had a chance to use it, so my review would have no merit. I do have to say that when I received it, it come in this little tiny box and was very light. I hope that it does what it said it's going to do for the cost of it. Was not very cheap at all.
I wanted to love this hose. It says it will not kink under pressure, but I found it did still kink. It twists a lot. When I hang it up, I have to untwist it. When I take it down to use it, I have to untwist it to get all the loops out. It is heavy. The only thing I liked about this hose was the quick disconnect nozzle. I like that it's just an adustable spary nozzle too. But I will be returning it and I will be going back to the Pocket Hose styles. They are lighter and easier to use. The one pro about this hose vs. those expandable hoses is that the length is set. So if I have a sprinkler in the ground and I turn off the water, the hose is not going to shrink and put pressure on the hose and maybe yank the sprinkler out of the ground or put unwanted pressure on the connection where the sprinkler attaches to the hose. The work around for this is that I have to move the sprinkler while the water is still on and bring it closer to the faucet. Because those expandable hoses put tension on the hose when it is off. So if you have it out in the yard at the maximum length when in use, you cannot keep it there when the water is off. So that is why this style hose is better for that type of application. Know your application when choosing your hose. For me, I thought I needed this style, but I can go back to the expandable type. Those do not kink at all. This one said it does not, but I still found myself untwisting this a bunch and that was becoming cumbersome for the 5 minutes that I need to use it to water my plants. If I have a situation where the setup is permanent, for a sprinkler application, I will consider this hose for that. But because this is a pain to put away, by hand at least, nope. I hope I can return it after I tested it out for a week.
I purchase this on May 14th because I was told this hose was the best for gardening. I was pleased with it a first because the flexibility was great but I went to pull the hose out of the hose box,to water my lawn last night, and the whole fitting pulled right off of the hose. No way to fix it as fitting is plastic inside and out! Junk!
