LEGO® City 60287 Tractor, New 2021 (148 Pieces)

This build was fun to build, the new bricks and molds in this set were really cool and nice to see. If you like LEGO City and like tractors this is the set for you. A suggestion would maybe be another city set for a tractor trailer that holds other hay bales and other farm equipment I think it would be a cool thing to add to the tractor since it has a hitch. All in all this is a fantastic set.

LEGO City "Tractor" (144 pieces). I didn't plan it that way, but, I received this set in the mail on Father's Day (yes, FedEx delivers on Sundays), which, given the dad/daughter theme, was certainly appropriate! The vehicle is moderately difficult to assemble: 2 big bags of bricks, 2 small, and the larger tires and scoop are loose in the box. There are some Technic pieces mixed in with the standard blocks. I'm really getting bored with making cars, so, this tractor was a breath of fresh air! The machine has a fairly realistic appearance and attractive design. My9 year old grandson asked for this Lego kits this summer. I surprised him with it as one of his Christmas gifts. He loved it. He assembled it in 15 minutes %26 loves it!

Great to see lego make a tractor again

What a great set! My son loves the large knobbly wheels and ability to collect items with the big scoop and transport them around. Some nice touches, the steps, the exhaust, the large front window, the mirrors. The rabbit is also super cute and has a whole range of food to be fed with - carrot, pumpkin and apple. A delight to play with as it is sturdy and towers over all other vehicles (as a tractor should). More of this large sized farm equipment for our Lego CITY farm please!

6 year old really liked this. Assembled tractor is just as cute as can be.

If I would have had this set as a kid growing up I would have been over the moon. I always built my own tractors from the small amount of parts I had growing up on our farm. Now that they have produce agricultural tires makes it all the more visually pleasing. Love the tires! It's nice that the loader stays in position for moving up and down, for young up and coming Lego farm kids, this set is an excellent choice to practice those early farming skills.

it's what is supposed to be

This is a good little set with a good design and decent playability for the size of the set. I like the inclusion of the new hay pieces and the carrots and pumpkin as well as the bunny rabbit. I just have my fingers crossed that Lego releases a full-size Farm set with things like goats, cows, pigs and chickens. I missed out on farm sets when they were last available and feel they need to make a comeback even if it is just one actual farm set as part of the City theme.

I almost gave this set a 3 star, but then remembered this is a 5+ city set - 4 stars it is (5 stars is perfect/near prefect IMP, and a grade i've given to cheaper sets). the value and design are both decent, but there is one change that i feel can drastically improve the model - making the main body of the vehicle 3-4 studs wide, rather than just 2. The vehicle, as a whole, is handsome and somewhat realistic, but it just feels too narrow. This is especially pronounced in the back view when the frame between the two giant wheels (almost-monster-truck like) is smaller than each of the two tires. i am no tractor expert but after looking at photos of real tractors it still doesn't seem right to me. Another general comment for Lego is that if the technic pin connector pieces ( at the bend of the bucket arm here) are used, please provide simple pieces to cover up the holes. Nonetheless, these points are pretty evident in the shots Lego provided; so if you are interested in the set, take a look at the 3d spin (esp. the back) - and if you don't agree with my comments then i think you will be happy with the set.
