My oldest grandson is a Lego fanatic, it's rubbed off on little brother and this car was perfect for him to help put together. Just the right amount of pieces for him not to get frustrated, easy enough that he could also snap most of the pieces without Nana's help.
Love this little Lego set. I bought it for my 4 year old and he was able to build it with minimal help from me. The car was so cute and came with a couple characters with accessories. Great for beginner Lego masters

Bought as a gift for me son. He said he wanted legos so I bought as many as I could. They are extremely small, however they are great for the price and allows the kids to build and be creative with known characters.
The cute race car has every little detail! My son has taken this apart and put it back together almost on his own- and he's 3. The instructions are very easy to follow.
These small Lego kits are the perfect gateway for your child to begin the wonderful world of Lego. This is also a great choice if you're wondering if your child is ready for the next stage in development of Lego from the DUPLO blocks. My children love these small sets and they do not break the bank which is a huge plus.
I watch closely all of the prices on Lego sets. Usually, when I purchase they are a good deal and also something that is age specific as well. I have given Lego sets meant for older children sometimes and unless you know your audience is a longtime Lego user, I don't recommend. For myself they are always a perfect gift with most people really happy with the gift. And I also love to see the finished product!
