[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wow well where do I start with this review, what another fantastic product from Lego. My son is a huge fan and always has been we have boxes upon boxes of lego and his room is full of models of built up lego. We have recently been to our local Zoo abs Safari Park and he has since been obsessed with tigers and the lions, so I felt this set was perfect for him to enjoy and to build. The set comes in a huge box which is always a great thing with lego as they make sure there is enough room for all the pieces and that the boxes are full of fun pictures which are always the exact images of what you will get once you build. The bag are as always numbered and the step by step guide is always precise and easy to follow. The age of the lego is 6 but my 5 year old managed to build this will a little bit of supervision and help along the way, it took a few days as we did a little each night but that was just our choice it could easily be done in a few hours. The set itself is fantastic it's full of lots of exciting features and animals including a tiger, lion, elephant and much more. You get plenty of figure inside the set aswell as lots of little extras that really make the set what it is and in addition to this you get a truck that you can store items in, a dingy boat, a mini plane and a motorbike which makes playing more fun. You can use the vehicles to rile play and go from destination to destination like from the tree house, to the caves. Some of the set also links together but you can also have these separate. I just love all the small fantastic details like the fire, the meat for the tiger/lion, the hawks egg and the banana for the monkey. The one think I would have liked to had added to this set would have been a little tent as it is a campsite set and as kids know it a little triangle tent, although thy have a tree house where they sleep so it's just a suggestion and not a criticism as it's an absolutely fantastic set. Overall really pleased with it and excited to purchase the little sets we can use alongside this to make it bigger. Great product from Lego as per usual, if your child's a big fan of zoos and safaris and camping or just animals in general then this is a great set for them which you can add on to. Highly recommend
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My household has 2 very obsessed Lego fans so its not a surprise that this set was a big hit with both of them! I have noticed that over the years the sets have gotten smaller with a bigger price tag which is a bit annoying but none of the less the playability stays the same. My little girl is Home Educated so its always great as a topic started and this set was no different. I would have loved there to be a baby Elephant in with the set as there is with the lions and bird but none of the less its still a great set. The set is great to be build alone or as a bonding activity.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Really enjoyed making a start on this set with my 5 year old granddaughter. She loved finding all the right pieces and putting them together. We haven't built it all yet, just the truck and the tree, but it has kept her occupied for ages. She is already playing with the pieces we have built and looking forward to building more. It seems very expensive, but there are so many parts in the set and so many hours of building and playing, I think it is worth the money.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 6 year old abs my 2 year old absolutely love this set. The instructions are really easy to follow and my 6 year old needed very little help to make it. The animals that come with it are fab. They have spent ages playing with it and i think it will be one they break up to remake time and time again.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Me and my son loved this treat as he had been good all week. We had a laugh together whilst fixing pieces on and it was lovely to see the concentration and bond between us both. 3 hours passed and we had to stop sadly but he couldn't wait to finish building it the next day
Loved the animals!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My nephew is Lego mad and always just built duplo so this was the next level up. I thought he would have found it difficult but he didn't . Really enjoyed the challenge and loved the animals
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This wildlife rescue camp Lego set is so much fun for not only myself and my son, we had so much fun building this and playing with it to we enjoyed that there so much actual functional parts and different ways to interact with the set. The animals it comes with are super fun for my son and great quality as well. The set comes with lots of pieces but very easy to assemble the instructions are very clear to understand. Definitely recommend to any lego lover!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Beautiful safari city lego set, so easy to assemble and with just over 500 pieces took no time at all to make up the set, loved it had bigger parts, i.e the animals, my boy had absolute fun building this up and so did i as a parent, i love the fact its part of the city range and you can keep adding to the set, nice and colourful and when assembled hours of fun for your little one/s. Lego are always thinking and bringing new ideas to life.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] For years I have wanted Lego to release a zoo in the City range. This is the closest they've come so far. I collect Lego animal figures, so I was very excited to see the new elephant, monkey and lion moulds. The rest of the set is quite simplistic but effective. Fingers crossed still for a zoo set.
