My child really enjoys all the Classic products. This is a perfect set that gives child lots of opportunities to build something fun. Thinking of ordering a second set also.

This was part of my sons Christmas gifts. I picked this set because of the included baseplates. I didnt see in the description the sz %26 going by the pic on the box... they seemed like they would be much larger! They def wasnt. But, besides that.... it was great! %26 of course my son loves ANYTHING LEGO!!!

just bought this box, because of the plates it shows and by the big box assuming the plateals were large, when opening i see no plates until i took everything out it came with 4 small plates that are hardly bigger than my hand... whats the point of the huge box if everything could have fitted in a med/large box and figured the plates werent big but instead small!! Its still a good deal but the plates was deceving, no where on the box it says for the size of the plates like they have for the actual legos. They could have put actual size like they did for the other lego pcs.. everything that came in the box was hardly filled to the middle.... so what was the point of not putting the actual size of it and in a huge box!

The image on the box shows 4 base plates that appear to be full size. when you look at the item on the website they also appear full size. when you open the product- they are tiny! A normal base plate is 10"x10" - these are only 5"x5" one is only 2.5". Read the fine print.

Great price! However, nowhere is it listed on the product that it will arrive in original packaging and not be in a box! So even if its a gift for your own child, select Gift option, other wise the surprise of Legos on Christmas morning will be ruined, like it was when my kids looked thru the window and saw a bright yellow box of Legos waiting for them! Very disappointed in Walmart for this! Lego set is great

It's a great set. The price is reasonable. However, they put this item with some heavy items in one box. My item was totally broken.

We love Lego in our house and I'm trying to expand our possibilities with a basic brick set. I bought this item in store and it was missing the orange, red, yellow, green, tan and black bricks. I checked another box in the store when trying to exchange the first box and it was also missing those pieces. Be sure to check the box before your kids get too far into it! You may be shorted a ton of bricks! I like the variety of this set in theory but can't get my hands on a full set. Too bad.
