My son wanted this set two years ago and we didn't get it. Finding it this year for Christmas at an affordable price was awesome!

A great set, but not a great Batcave
As with a lot of sets I've gotten in the last year and a half, I'm only now coming back to review this set, despite getting it almost a year ago. This is a great set, with great architecture and a good minifigure selection. However, I wouldn't recommend buying it if it's a Batcave you're looking for. It works fantastically as a abandoned train station/hideout (which is accurate to the movie), but it doesn't really have that classic Batcave feel. I ended up making it more like that with spare parts, but if you want a more rugged, cave-like Batcave with no extra bricks required I would recommend going and getting one of the older ones off of Bricklink or something. A 9/10 set in my opinion, I would absolutely recommend getting it before it retires!

I was not expecting to get this item originally when I went on the site, but was pleasantly surprised to find it and took up the offer while it was still there. I have been wanting it for a while so I am very happy to have finally got it.

because the lego box was destroyed because it wasn't probably packaged for shipping. I don't know if pieces are missing. box destroyed. lego manual somewhat damaged.

Box was trashed BAD
Out of my 400 sets of Lego, this was the most beat up box I've ever received. Taped, torn, and crushed. Absolute garbage to my collection.
