Lego Disney - Mickey and Friends Castle Defenders

Disney themed legoes are so cute! The details are very accurate. We are currently working on the Fantasia Mickey lego with over 1800 pieces-we Love it!

My son absolutely loves Minnie Mouse so I buy him any set I find with Minnie in it. He loves the Mickey and Friends sets, despite them being too easy for him to build. They're really fun and the colours, outfits, and themes are great. I do find them to be more money than they're worth for a kid who's as good at lego as mine is, but I still recommend them. I noticed that the Mickey & Friends section is gone from the "themes" pull down so I do really hope they'll come out with more of these sets! They're especially good for any kiddo just starting out with lego as the instructions are so crystal clear and show very concretely how far you've gone through the build and how to position the pieces to get them together properly. I definitely recommend these as a first set.

The package arrived in great time and was not damaged in any way. Bought for my grandson for Christmas! I think he will enjoy it very much!

I loved that each bag had a part of the set and a character. It allowed for the set to be broken down into smaller more manageable pieces while still having a completed playable part each time.

Everyone in the family or group can find a build that speaks to them. Some sets, such as this Disney Mickey and Friends Castle Defenders, contain 4 separate builds with instructions labeled 1-4 that match component bags. So easy (at least the first time) to join with 3 friends each working away on their own project then combining.

I received product reimbursement in exchange for my honest review. This is such a cute Lego set. Lego Mickey is adorable, and I love that this comes with the main Disney minifigures. The details are what make this set outstanding. There is a wand for Daisy, Donald is a jester, and there is even a hairbrush and a baguette. My son loved building this, and has played with it non-stop. He really likes the red dragon and having Mickey fight with the sword. This is one of the more simple sets to build, as it is for ages 4 and up, for kids moving out of Duplo, but not quite ready for more complicated sets. I would 100% recommend this set to any kid who loves Mickey and Friends and Legos.

It has simple to follow instructions that are perfect for little ones learning to build Legos. However, it does seem slightly expensive for the piece count and size of the product after it is built.

Set is fine, a bit sparse, but it's not designed to be anything that complex. We were actually more interested in the minifigures than the set as a whole. This may or may not be deconstructed and constructed again at a later date, depends on if we want to use it in one of our displays in the basement or not. Either way, a fun little set that is a great option for younger builders.

It has likable Disney characters and animals. The price is fair for what is included. This is a great choice if you're looking for a gift.
