I am so excited the sew-on patch item now exists!! As an embroidery artist and patch collector, I decided on this kit so I would be able to make both a patch for myself and for my dog's denim vest! The picture frame is my second favourite item you can design, and the rest is all just a bonus :) I wish this kit came with the Alphabet Letter tiles though, as I can't really design much on the bag tags with the limited space. That said though, I 100% recommend this product for any creative person and/or their children!

I received product reimbursement in exchange for my honest review. This will keep them busy for hours. There are 8 crafts and an almost infinite number of designs kids can add to them. Some of the crafts have 3M adhesives on the back and hold really well to whatever you stick it to. We used a binder, and it's stuck on there good. Other Dots sets came with a tray and that would have been a huge advantage here, but I'm disappointed it doesn't have one. There are so many colors included; not just they standard ones you see everyday.

It would be a super gift for a birthday or Christmas. I think girls would prefer this because of the colors, but my boys enjoyed creating different items and coming up with their own designs. I love that you can reuse all of these objects and start over to make new patterns. The book has a ton of helpful ideas and we found it very easy to follow. These are also very practical crafts that kids can use to organize their desks and jewelry. I love the picture frame the most! It also comes with a great yellow plastic tub with a clear lid that is really nice for separating the colors and organizing the pieces. I would absolutely recommend this Lego Dots Toolkit if your kid loves Legos and crafts!

You can make picture frames and storage options like a pencil holder and a knick nack holder. This would be an awesome set for multiple kids to do together. The book included with it gives multiple options for things to make.

The one thing missing from this kit that I would have loved is an organizer for the dot pieces to keep them from going everywhere. Legos are elevating crafts with these dot kits allowing for redesign-able art projects. This kit was super to follow and assemble.

I gifted this set to our 10 year old granddaughter. She loves building with Lego but this set gave her the opportunity to be creative and decorate several useful pieces. A day after receiving it she had completed a pencil container and a picture frame all designed and decorated beautifully.

The instruction booklet provides inspirations for decorating the items, but ultimately it is a very versatile set that is perfect for those who like to dream up their own designs.
