LEGO Friends - Stephanie's Sailing Adventure

I received product reimbursement in exchange for my honest review. I enjoyed building this for pleasure while my toddler boy observes carefully and curiously. Once it was done building he knew it was his turn to play with it. We wish it can float on water! I am keeping some small pieces in a bag to save until he is old enough to be safe with them. He does not even know who lego Friends are, but he is having so much fun with this!

It comes with detailed instructions to help but this would definitely be a good set for a child that has put together larger Lego sets before.

My little girl is really into it. I always have Lego to thank for getting her focused and quiet for a few hours to work on sets.

Lego set 41716 "Stephanie's Sailing Adventure" is a great set for any child who is looking for a challenging build with lots of cool details. This set comes with 3 figures and several fun themed accessories such as life vests, binoculars and even a drone! The punch out sail is plastic with an intricate design that really brings the ship to life. This set comes with a lot of stickers which are sometimes tricky to apply for young kids but they really bring life to this toy. Stephanie's Sailing Adventure is a wonderful addition to the Friends line and will bring hours of fun.

It takes her all week if not more and she's busy having fun in her free time! This is challenging yet only just enough so she can stay interested. I was worried as she gets frustrated very easy and this has not done that to her. She's enjoyed the images and the pieces so she's completely happy!

In her words "it's hard, but it's easy" .. which I believe translates to .. it takes time to build, but has good instructions to follow. The actual boat (after building) is bigger than I expected and has a lot of detail .. including furniture and decor inside the boat like a real living space. I like that it comes with 3 characters, so even if this is your only Lego set you can still have imaginative play.

I received product reimbursement in exchange for my honest review. Lego Friends is a perfect set for any 7 yearl old. Colorful and larger than regular pieces work great together. The sailing boat, once built, looks quite impressive. My kids loved it. Lego did it again!

I received product reimbursement in exchange for my honest review. I love the bright colors on this set and the mini-figs are so cute! Lots of stickers where it would be better if the bricks were printed. I worry about the durability of the sails over time too.
