LEGO - Friends Holiday Camping Trip

My eight year old is able to follow the directions and build it herself, and is enjoying playing with it. These are great activities for building patience and focus; and of course, fun.

I received product reimbursement in exchange for my honest review. This is the perfect addition to the Friends Lego series. My DD is 10 and enjoyed building this. She also loved that the Lego character Autumn is unique and celebrates people of all abilities. One thing though is that I didn't recognize what the sticks with the white ends were - apparently they're roasting marshmallow sticks - maybe there is a better way of creating these. In her opinion, she thought everything was amazing!

It had two races represented and they were female! it was a cool concept with the SUV/Jeep pulling the camper and depicted them roasting marshmallows over a fire. Liked the fact it was an easy build.

Started off with duplo but they have been transitioning to legos so this was a nice simple set for them to have fun with. They have never been camping so it was funny to watch what all they came up with with their imaginations. It's an adorable set that has potential to be an addition to other sets. The inclusivity of the girls / different abilities was not something I noticed when i was buying it, but now that I see that- it's amazing!

Legos are classic. Can't go wrong with these fun sets and this is a great build for kids that are just starting out with building.

I received product reimbursement in exchange for my honest review. This product is a little disappointing. It is a very small set but says 87 pieces. My biggest complaint is that some of the the pieces are so small it makes you wonder what the point is. For example, the girl comes in 4 pieces, her hair and head are 2 separate pieces. This is a cute little set for the purpose of seeing if your kid will like legos before you get a bigger set. For $20 you are paying for the Lego name more than anything else and I don't think its worth it. If you are really into legos, I would choose a bigger set instead.

My 5 year old stated her only dislike was that the Lego characters hair kept falling off even thou I tried to attach it same problem. Besides that it's a quick build. She plays with it has fun. The price point should be lowered not worth the price tag.
