Assembly is pretty basic. I appreciate that the toy is easy to disassemble and doesn't trap water. It's very cute. Although, there are not very many pieces for the price when comparing to other Duplo sets.
For my 3 month old granddaughter. Not old enough to build but will play with them when she sits up in her own.
My great grandchild loves this lego bath toy. It is educational and safe to play with.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So much excitement in the bath, little arms splashing up and down in excited anticipation when he saw it, and then when Lego Duplo animal train hit the water he was mesmerised and so ensconced in his new bath toy we were able to wash his head (I'd say hair, but there's not a lot of it) without a single tear, cry or any fuss at all. The two older kids when they had their bath later on were also having a sneaky play with it, and seemed to be having a world of fun even though it's intended for littlies. Re: uploading a video, I won't be doing that and always state as such when completing the preliminary qualifying round of questions as I do not put images of my children anywhere online, as they're not fuel for predators and their inappropriate delights (nor would I consent to them appearing in marketing for a company, technically free of charge, merely in exchange for a toy of which I have provided ample feedback). Thank you for understanding.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My daughter loves the bath Duplo. Its floats nicely on the water. It can be opened up to be dried out to avoid mould build up. They are the right size for my little girl to hold and attempt to build. We will be buying more duplo now!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Duplo floating animal train is a great bath toy, very adorable and my 20 month old loves it! We use it not only in the bath but in our water play table! The fact that the animals are only 2 large blocks means they are easy for her to pull apart and put back together. They are also super easy to pull apart and clean so no chance of mould like with some bath toys. I give them to my daughter in soapy water as part of our water play and she 'washes' them. The only thing which could use improvement is that due to the holes the floating rings do tend to fill up with water and tip over so I have to keep emptying them but it is not a big deal.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My kids love Duplo. They are almost 2 and 4 years old and Duplo is so rugged, long-lasting and versatile. We couldn't quite figure out how Duplo bath time fun differed from normal Duplo, and it didn't float that well (my kids splash too much!), but the shapes and colours are fun and they interact well. In summary, if your kids love Duplo, they will love Duplo bath time fun floating animal train!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a 2.5 year old who I thought would love a new bath toy. However she wasn't interested in the main parts at all. She liked the little bucket and cloud but only played with the other parts when I guided her to them, this okay was very quick. She was more interested to fill up the bucket and pour it into the cloud that rained. The 2 issues I had was with them was they fall apart very easily and not stay joined together so it was mildly annoying to play with them. Trying to find them in a bath with bubbles was difficult The doughnut floatie would also full up with water quickly, so they fall over and don't float how they should. They are easily to clean though, so there won't be any future mould problems.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The floaty rings struggle to stay afloat! Particularly when the figures were on board. We spent more time draining the water out of the float rings than actually playing with them. It's rated for the 3+ age range but really it's more for an 18 month+ age. The drain holes in the rings, which do make them easy to clean, make it impossible for them to float. Especially when you use the cloud to pour even more water into them. If you have a child who would just sit in the bath, play calmly and not splash or use the rain cloud, then maybe it would be worth while, but for our toddler it was a bit disappointing.
Item was not in a box. It was in a clear bag that was knotted shut. I bought it for a gift and did not use it as a gift because it looked so cheap/used. I will use it at my house (grandma‘s house) for a tub toy.
