LEGO DUPLO My First LEGO® DUPLO® Large Green Building Plate 2304

My daughters have 4 of these, one that I have paintsprayed blue for playing on ocean/water (I highly recommend other parents to do this). There is no problem that the plate is thin as other writes. The plates have survived 1.5 years of energic play without any signs of wear or tear. Building large zoo, park, playground etc on the plate helps my children play for longer time than on the floor. And less mess.

Yup, its a duplo plate. It bends. Its big. You can build on it. Not sure what all the negative reviews are expecting for a baseplate. a little pricey but over all what you should expect in a baseplate!

This baseplate has bean a part of my house for years and I just don't no if i could have played with LEGO s without it And over the past few months I have really descovered LEGO

We always use base plate when we play with LEGO. It is really nice when we can build LEGO city an keep brick contractions in place. I wish there would be available bigger plates and more color options. :)

I love these base plates, and they really do make things easier for the kids. However, I would really like LEGO to make a table of some sort for the LEGO DUPLO blocks. I think I am going to use these base plates to make my own table for my son and daughter, since I have not been able to find a pre-made one.

Works well. It folds when my 3 year old picks it up to move it, but it works. Good place to stack blocks on.

We are going to make our son a lego table and I am just wondering if the base plate sizes are actually 15x15 or if that is just the size of the package?

The cost of this item, relative to other Duplo products, just does not make sense! How could one flat piece of plastic cost more than other boxes? As a consumer I feel ripped off as it is a necessary item to anchor the bricks when young children are playing with them.
