LEGO Friends Beach Amusement Park 41737 Building Toy Set, A Technical Project for older kids Ages 12+, with Spinning Carousel, Wave Machine and Shooting Gallery Game

I simply love this set, it's really challenging to build and that's the fun part about it. I was building it for 4 hours and I loved every second of it. The mechanism is just so cool and it's very practical. I love how this set looks overall, it's a bit pricy but I get the price for this set :)

I ordered this for myself (aged 68 living in the UK) as I thought it would be a very interesting build.... but I also bought the same set for my 7 year old granddaughter in Australia from a shop local to her. Both our sets were delivered on the same day and my granddaughter was straight into hers, so I was playing catch up with the promise I wouldn't finish before her. We had a super time building together even though we're on opposite sides of the globe. She found the instructions easy to follow and only had one little problem with the placement of a brick so we worked through it together via a video chat. The last bag we built at the same time (rather a very late night for me due to the 9 hour time difference) and we completed the build at the same time. Then we had a good play with the figures and all the fun things they could do at the amusement park. She (and I) thought all the moving parts were super fun and well designed which made this a really great set. The only thing she commented on was that there would be more rides at a theme park so I think we will have to challenge ourselves and add a few more 'attractions' Building this set together was a moment to treasure and reminded me of how I used to build Lego when I was 7 years old with my dad.

This Lego Friends Amusement Park was so much fun to build! The part usage was great! Using Technic pieces and making the attractions all move simultaneously was very enjoyable. Of course because it's Lego Friends, you can count on awesome color schemes. The seahorse, turtle and dolphin were fun to put together as they are really different than the other seahorse, turtle and dolphin builds. This set has 3 mini dolls. One or two more would have made it a little more fun. Overall, the build was a lot of fun and is great for presentation and play!

This Lego set is a very fun set to assemble. There are numerous interactive features such as a rotating carousel, wave machine, and shooting gallery game that are all driven by gears contained within the assembled set. Overall was simple enough to assemble for an older child.

Great gift for my 10 year old who loves legos! Instructions help her work at her own pace.

I did not want this item it was for my grandchild and I think legos are over priced

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was very impressed with the Lego set. It included great step by step instructions. The layout of the book was simple and straight forward. Broken down into packets and steps - without the packets it would have been very over whelming. I enjoyed the Lego set myself and had to hold back from doing it. Great way to watch your child's amazement when they build it themselves. This set was intricate and incredible the way you set it all up and connected the whole set together.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We found the Lego friends beach amusement park a bit of a challenge to make. As my six-year-old daughters first time doing the smaller Lego. The instructions where great but she struggled to hold the attention span. However with my help and me doing some sessions we finished it in a few hours. Now the kids are having a great time rotating the scene and watching it go round. There is lots of laughter coming from the kitchen as i write this review.

This was such a fun, colorful build with lots to do. My daughter loved it!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Upon opening the Lego box, I was a little apprehensive due to how many bags of Lego we would need to build and the thickness of the instruction book! But the bags were labelled with numbers making the process easier, we used the book that came with the set to build the set but you can also use the Lego app that is available to download to help with the build. My children did need some adult help with some pieces of the build. But overall it was a simple process.
