I love these cool little sets where for a few bucks you get an awesome addition to your collection :) I really like the thestrals, and the gothic look of the carriage. Well designed :)

First off I saw this set and I kinda chuckled, I saw the piece count and the price and I thought that it was a ripoff.... I was wrong. This is a great set, it has such a good size to it that the piece count wasn't even a issue with this one. I like both of the minifigures and the build was quite enjoyable! The carriage has a very nice design and I love the new Thestral pieces as well. This is defiantly a magical set!

Having not built anything with LEGO since childhood (a much loved lego hospital) this small set appealed to me being a Harry Potter fan. I spent a couple of hours building it. (I am a perfectionist)! It has made me want the whole HP and Fantastic Beasts collection. Fortunately I have a birthday coming up ;-). I really enjoyed the set. The attention to detail is delightfuI. I loved that the coach lanterns swivel up and down and the red lining on the ceiling matches the seat of the gothic black coach. The shiny gunmetal wheels look awesome. The winged horse looks fab. The minifigs look the part and are interactive. It encouraged me to spend time away from technology and social media which can only be a good thing. Really good fun on a Saturday afternoon. I thoroughly recommend this set to young and old. 5 *****

I have never put together a real build from LEGO. Played with legos, but an actual instruction manual build. Nope. I was a little overwhelmed with all the little pieces and had to laugh that my facial expression matched the one in the book. Separated into colors as recommended and went to work. Loved every moment of it. Husband watched on in envy. Cannot wait to build more of these! Loved the way this turned out.

When building it it gave me a bit of trouble. The red axle piece was a bit difficult to get through. Reverse of that the front wheel assembly want to keep falling off until it finally snap together. There are a lot parts in this set. I find myself building the carriage first, and the horse and minifigs latter. Despite all that it's a gorgeous set i enjoyed putting togther.

I purchased this product for two young adults who love Harry Potter. Given that it had over 130 pieces in the set, I thought it would be challenging enough for them to enjoy putting it together. While I'm m sur that they will have a great time together assemblying this Lego set due to the theme . I was dissapointed when I read how small it would be when it was finished. The size will be much smaller than i imagined it would be and definitely smaller ths it sppearred to be in the pictures of the completed set shown on the website. Nonetheless, I am sure that they will enjoy putting it together and displaying it.

I ordered this set as soon as it was available. The promotional pictures looked really good and I was excited to see a set based on a scene from the Fantastic Beasts sequel. The set didn't disappoint the completed carriage looks great and the two minifigures are well done. I thought the build was easy to average to complete. I liked the new Thestral and the incorporation of the harness is really well done. The dual molded wings look great! The carriage looks really good with the newer doors and some recolored vegetation pieces cleverly used as accents. It is easy to access the carriage through the doors or by removing the roof. The wheels look really good and complete the overall look. There are a few drawbacks, this is a relatively delicate set so it can't take any rough play. The connection to the Thestral comes apart easily and the wheels are a bit wobbly because they are so narrow. The range of motion on the front wheels is only about 90 degrees so the carriage makes wide turns. Although I really like the new skirt piece it is too big to allow Seraphina Picquery to be placed correctly into the driver's seat. There is some decent play value with the shooting spell accessories which work well. You can also drive or fly the carriage when using a bit of care. I also appreciate Seraphina's purple wand, nice to see this part in a different color. This set makes a great display model and a decent play model for older kids.
