This is the best set in the wave, This set is perfect. Lego! please make more sets on this series, we all loved the old sets. So please more sets on the old films. And please tell us why you cancelled or delayed The Temple Of Doom set.
Allways loved indi and as soon as i seen this set knew i had to get it A very nice little build and just the right size to capture the scene Would of been happy to pay a few more for a printed canopy but its great value at the price
To be honest I was not really looking forward to this set, it's the smallest out of the 3 new sets (I got all 3). However, I was pleasantly surprised. The car and the plane were fun to build and are quite playable.
This Set was built by my 8 yr old son with a little help, we really enjoyed the build and loved that both the Plane and the car are very sturdy meaning lots of playability without bits falling off, although if you drop the car it does kind of explode, the plane not so much. Great, easy build with great playability and good value for money what's not to love.
As a child I was a huge fan of the original lego Indiana Jones sets, this set has set off my nostalgia. Overall, the set is very good. The car is my favourite build. The figures are great and and an improvement on the originals. The only thing I would add would be some seagulls to go with the umbrella.
I just finished building this set right as the scene it recreates played in the movie. It's great to have new Indiana Jones and at a reasonable price. Henry and Junior look great. The build is fun and the little accessories help to capture the fun of this movie. The canopy sticker was a bit challenging and mine is a bit smudgy from a couple of false starts but overall I found the built to be enjoyable.
Such a cool set for the price! Great for adult fans of the films and kids who like car or plane/'flying machine' sets! And Henry Jone's journal was a great touch!
Overall this is a superbly crafted set, with great details and features. The minifigures are high quality though the absence of the humorous car owner is a miss. The biggest drawback to this set is the low quality stickers. The curved canopy piece should have been printed considering it is difficult to apply (even for adults) and the clear back sticker causes bubbles and markings to form. This makes the entire canopy murky and not totally clear like it should be. The stickers applied to the rest of the plane are also poor and the color of the bricks bleeds through, hurting the overall appearance. I will continue to hope that Lego eventually improves their sticker/printing production considering the high value of their products.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like this set, it's fairly cheap and looks really nice on display. The plane itself is really fun to play with, and I love that you can remove the wings, like in the original set. I was happy to see that there weren't a lot of stickers in this set, however the only sticker I didn't like was the cockpit. While I understand this isn't a speed champions set, it's a little bit disappointing that the cockpit is a transparent sticker instead of a print. Especially when considering that it's a curved surface, which makes it quite difficult to align properly. The car is a really nice build, and I love that the designers chose to make it eight studs wide, because that allows it to be displayed with the new speed champions sets. The Berlin sign, as well as the tunnel sign, is a really nice addition. The minifigures are perfect in this set. Indy has a new dual molded hat-hair piece, Henry has his umbrella and journal, and the fighter pilot is really accurate to the source material. Overall, an amazing set, that looks great on display, has great play value, but beware of the canopy sticker!
Awesome set, retailer/shipping provider damaged heavily. Became a bad Lego investment with time and effort wasted on the set.
