Build time: 30 minutes for an adult with a little help from a 3 year old. It's sometimes hard to get your hands on a set that's sold out, it's often a stroke of luck when you find one in the store. We are now missing only the big helicopter to have all the models of that year. Two days ago, I told my son that I had managed to find a box with a new dinosaur, one with different colors. So, as soon as he walked by the box this morning, he asked me if we could build it, and since I wanted to do it too, we opened the box. I didn't have much help from my 3 year old son, because he was tired this morning, but he played with it a lot as soon as it was built. I asked him what his favorite part of the set was, without hesitation, he told me the vehicle. He's at the age where he likes to play with cars a lot. This is our second Jurassic World off-roader, we put together the first one a few months ago. It differs from the set with the baryonyx because it is a little smaller, but it has a net launcher to catch small and medium dinosaurs, which makes it a little more practical than the other one in case of a problem! This is a fun set to build, I didn't see any issues with it. It is even more solid than the other model when it comes to playing with it when the child is young. On my son's side, there are two things he would have liked: a roof on the vehicle (I told him there is no winter, that's why he doesn't need it and he agreed) and a baby dinosaur in the egg (I told him it would be really small - the idea of dinosaurs being born is great, it would be nice to have a set with an open egg and a baby dinosaur in it.)
this is a great set. i know the price drags it down but the figures and veichal make it feel better. lots of fun for younger childeren. for collectors it is one to have as you gat an exclusive pteradon. great poasable net gun with storage for two items plus a crate to put the egg in. if you want a low-budget set that has a bit of everything then this si for you.
This Lego set was really nice. The Pteranodon was a cool dinosaur and the net feature went well. The tracker was a nice mini figure to get and I love the Owen mini figure. For its price it was okay though maybe a moped or something will make a perfect set. A fun set and a good gift to give someone who likes Lego/Jurassic world fan will really, really like.
A good value set and worth it because you get a new net shooter, the cool Owen Grady, the amazing Exclusive Pteranodon and... Janice the tracker. Anyways its a good set with good play features and good minifigures.
This lego set was amazing. My kiddo loved building the truck and shooting the net out of it to capture the dinosaur figure!
Got this for a bday gift for my a little boy. He loved it. My son also has this set and he also loves his Legos. THey are his favorite toy!
Overall its a descent set the play value is there for children its a simple set to buildthe dinosaur is well detailed the mini figs are good its a cheaper way to get owen a main character so its a good set if you want something quick and easy
Fun build not difficult at all. Looks great very playable love the Pteranodon, the jeep and the mini figs
This set is the best set out of the Jurassic World Theme. The Car/Truck was a nice build. I really liked the Net launcher. I also liked that Lego added a girl soldier minifig. I'm glad they mixed up the gender in this set. Only flaw would be that I think Lego should have included a different dinosaur. Maybe a triceratops because Lego hasn't made one of them for the Jurassic World series yet. Overall Set grade, A-.
Like all the sets of this theme, this set has a terrible price to part ratio. On top of that, this set looks kinda ugly. The “jeep” is oversized compared to the minifigures, and the net launcher looks bad and doesn't work like it shows on the box, as it shoots at different paces every time, even if you shoot it the exact same way. The pteranodon looks nice, and is cool to get. This set is also a cheap way to get Owen. For me, this set wasn't a good buy since the main build is horrible and you pay $5 more than you should.
