My son was very happy with his Lego Jaguar
The new LEGO Speed Champion sizes are nice. You can fit two LEGO people the I-PACE. The level of detail is amazing. The feature with the starting line to pull a piece to drop each light by itself is really cool.
I purchased this alongside some other bits instore. My first build for quite a few years and loved every minute! I would have liked if the steering wheel was more offset but otherwise loved every moment of it! Definitely recommend! The value for money is very good id say and looks brilliant once made, the colour really makes them stand out!
It was great fun to build - the instructions were clear and the final result was really cool. The colors are really good and they look great on display! Can't wait to start my next one!
This is a perfect Lego kit for keeping young Lego masters busy for a couple of days. My 9 year old Grandson goes through Lego kits so easily I decided to get him a set with over 1000 pieces. It took him 2 days to assemble the entire kit. Well worth the money, especially now that we are socially distant.
I've collected a few Speed Champions models in the past, and I was excited to see the upgrade to 8 studs wide. It was definitely a good choice from Lego, as it allows the cars to incorporate a lot more detail. The I-Pace looks good for an SUV (I've seen some complaints about it looking like one when it is in real life), and the design for the front is really clever. The light sequence is a nice touch, but the design for the stand isn't unique in itself. The Formula E car looks very accurate and was a fun build, but I think there was a missed opportunity for a Jaguar team truck like the Scuderia Ferrari Truck in the first wave of Speed Champions.
It was a great experience. I had only one issue: one pf the pieces from the Jaguar I-Pace was black and in the instructions was specified that it should be white. It took me a while to realize the piece was not missing. But as overall experience I loved it and the cars are lookin just great.
I have a collection of speed champions this set will take center position it is well styled and detailed while I am not the biggest fan of the stickers to add details they do work. The build I found easy with good instructions. For me this was a fun build that that keept me occupied during my time in hospital.
Being a Jaguar fan I needed to get this set, love the colours and vehicle designs, and a good price. Just hate the amount of stickers you get, especially the sticker on the windscreen which is curved so very difficult to get it correctly aligned, which I epically failed at and can't do anything about as the sticker are very, sticky!
After purchasing the the 76899 Lamborghini set that I love, I was eager to get more Speed Champions. The only gripe I have with this Jaguar set is the stickers are a much dirtier blue than the blue LEGO pieces and don't sit well on the car at all. The green on the Lambo Urus was a perfect match so I don't see why these blue stickers aren't just as good. The photos I've taken don't show how bad a match in the flesh it actually is. I didn't want to put the stickers on at all but the car needed the detail. Disappointed as these stickers have really let a good looking set down.
