This kit is in my opinion the best kit, design and scale for such an iconic shop from the star wars universe. Ok playability is limited but it is a display piece afterall and the fact it's display means ship accuracy is greater as no compromise has to be made for playability, but it's a strong build and still great for a swoosh whenever you feel like it. The build is full of clever techniques to add so much detail. I truly hope Lego bring us more of the larger star wars ships in this scale. I would love to see things like a blockade runner, Mon calamari cruiser and other imperial cruisers in this scale. Great job Lego. More of the same in this scale please!!!

This is the perfect display set, it looks so very good in person and has that polished feel to it, almost like an UCS set. The designers managed to capture the smooth lines of the Executor and it really does look like an arrow shooting through space. It's bigger than I thought it would be, though still small enough to display easily. I really hope they make more ships like they've done here, because it makes it available for more people to enjoy, not just because of the lower price point, but also shelf space. The detail is well done and I really like the engines underneath too, they look realistic for the set. The 40th anniversary plaque looks great and I've put the Celebration Darth Vader minifigure on the stand just to finish the display off :-)

This set totally blew me away. I never buy sets straight away I usually take a while to think as it needs a lot of planning to fit in amongst everything else. But at the moment this was leaked I couldn't wait a second and it really did not disappoint. The way this is put together for so cheap and little parts is insane it's so sturdy and such a satisfying display piece. It's so well designed before I built it I was interested in how the central parts with all the different things going on was going to be put together. However, due to the ingenious design I didn't even realise I was building it until I had finished it and that was something I'd never get with any other set. As I said before this set REALLY BLEW ME AWAY. Whatever the team who designed this set are getting paid, they aren't getting enough believe me. I cannot fault this in any way to the very last minute detail this set is perfect. If you like Star Wars or collect Lego this set is a must have and might actually be my favourite in my collection.

The Executor is the perfect midi-scale set! The techniques used are incredible and its display presence is astounding! We all love UCS sets, but few ever have the space to display them. The Helmet and Diorama series have taught the Lego group that adults are far more willing to splash out on 18+ sets that are cheaper and small enough to fit on your desk; and the Executor fits this criteria perfectly. Like the Diorama series, she is a little on the expensive side; but also like the Diorama series, the build quality and display value are frankly unmatched. Personally I would consider this set a ‘must-buy' even at the high price, and a no-brainer if you can find it on sale.

I really enjoyed building this. Challenging enough to need to concentrate but equally not too hard to do. Looks great when finished.

This is the first 18+ set my newly 14 yr old son has had. He built it in about 2 hours, but is very pleased with the finished piece, and has decided he just wants 18+ sets from now on.

This progressive build was incredibly fun, easy to follow and demonstrates some interesting and unique (to this set) building techniques. The end product is an elegant and highly displayable icon of the STARWARS universe. This is the first Lego review I've ever written and I have dozens of sets, honestly don't hold back on this set, buy it, build it, love it - before it retires.

I've always dreamed of the iconic UCS Executor, though it's definitely out of my reach. I was really happy when Lego announced this one; in the midi scale, for which i actually have the place to display the model, and for a fairly reasonable price. I loved how it all came together, the build was really interesting and it looks beautiful on my desk. I really want more of these MIDI scaled ships!

This set is great display piece. The build experience is fun, varied but not difficult. It's pretty accurate to the model save a few areas. The stand is great and the printed brick is a fun addition.

I still don't have this yet.. I placed order For black Friday during thanksgiving for two of these. I only received one. one did not show up so I had a new one sent out from Walmart as a replacement. I still do not have this replacement! Was supposed to be here yesterday and today it's “arriving late”. Just like the last one I never got..I've never had issues with a replacement also being lost in the mail. I'm hoping it shows up but so far worst ordering experience ever..
