LEGO Super Mario The Mighty Bowser 71411 Building Set (2,807 Pieces)

I love Bowser and when I saw this set I needed to have it. I was a little skeptical of the price but after actually building him, he is 100% worth it. He's huge, sturdy, and really true to form. The added articulation in the arms really adds that extra oomph. And the mechanics for moving his head are delightfully well hidden. The base has a couple of neat features too! I had a lot of fun building this and if you're a fan of Mario or just well designed sets, this is for you.

Bower has always been my idol. When Lego previews the Mighty Bowser, I know I need to get him. He is a real fun to build. He is big and chunky, expressing the power of Bowser so well. I particularly marvel at the intricate mechanical details of his arms and head. Just wish that his arms can be posted at more positions!

This is definitely one coolest sets I've ever built. It is extremely detailed and has a lot of awesome features. The final build is very sturdy and can be easily moved. It is a one bag per number which makes it easier to find the pieces. The best thing about is that there are no stickers. All pieces are printed. The different mechanisms of the set from the rotating head to the movable jaw and to the flick fire breath make it one of the only UCS sets that are actually fun to play with. Overall, this set is definitely recommended to anyone who wants a fun build and a set that's fun to play with.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] [Employee of lego-global] At first, upon announcement I wasn't totally astounded by this set. The design and piece count were attractive but for the price I was interested in other sets over this one. However, after having had the chance to build it, my eyes have been opened. Not only is Bowser awesome to look at but the expertly designed Technic sections allow for puppeteering that is unlike any other set I have built before. The build itself is incredibly satisfying and uses some impressive techniques to create the shell and moving limbs without being too repetitive. There's also a couple fun secrets for anyone who gets the chance to build it. I highly recommend this not only to Mario fans, but anyone looking for something completely different from a LEGO set. After building him, I feel emotionally attached to him and am starting to think he's not a bad guy, just misunderstood.... Overall, if you have the budget for it, I can't recommend this highly enough and hope people don't pass on it. My hats off to the extremely talented designers, you've outdone yourselves!

I love this set a lot of details but good thing is no stickers thank you Lego please no stickers I love it the fire is a best too 10 of the 10 is masters

Absolute fantastic build. The technical side of the build is great, in fact everything is great. Can't recommend it enough. So so sturdy there's definitely no breaking it

Reallly awesome set, some cool unique building technical, I love that he shoots out his flame! Love how playable it is and is such a good display piece

This was a brilliant build, to start with it felt flimsy and I was worried the legs weren't going to support the weight of it but once it was all together it was solid, and the fire shooting out the mouth was brilliant...(although I've had to make sure it's out of the way of the kids because it fires with some force)

After reigniting my childhood joy of building Lego, I decided to treat myself to this set. It did not disappoint! I was a bit apprehensive considering I hadn't built a Lego model as large as this before but it was well worth it! The instructions were clear and simple and the segregated bags meant for easy organisation. As for the final product: WOW! This exceeded all expectations! As you make your way through building, you wonder how exactly every brick is meant to fit in and to see it all come together- the moving head, the shell, etc. really makes all those fun hours of building worthwhile. And what a model it is! Its playability is exceptional with the ability to move Bowser's head like a puppet and shoot a fireball from his mouth. The details on this build are nicely thought through too. One con that bugged me a little was the inconsistency of the fireball shooter. Sometimes it works well and other times it doesn't work at all. Bowser now sits proudly in my room and I have no regrets in buying him. Well done LEGO!

The build was such a fun experience and the features bowser has make it hard to believe it's lego
