LEGO Technic John Deere 9620R 4WD Tractor Toy 42136 Building Toy - Collectible Model with Trailer, Featuring Realistic Details, Construction Farm Toy for Kids Ages 8+

U will not regret this thing it is awesome experience building it and playing with my kids with it! The bold is solid and it handles little hands playing with it good! Thee thing that is maybe a draw back abit is the wheels don't t have the locking Lego pieces and there is no room for them on the axle Lego part, but otherwise is manageable! Get this set u won't regret it!

The John Deere - 42136 - set is fantastic, with playability not only for Technic beginners. The use of the small turntable element (parts 99009 and 99010) is practical. Hence, the placement is ideal to deliver the realistic movement of a 9620R John Deere Tractor. I have been around farm equipment my whole life, and John Deere is a gem in the agricultural economy. I am over the moon to see that The Lego Group has released another licensed farming vehicle set. The 42114 - 6x6 Volvo Articulated Hauler - set was a decent build and one mean machine (IRL), though the overall finished product is not among my top ten (or even 20) Technic set. Now, looking a the possibilities for 42136, I see only an open sky of developing from the original. I have a couple of sets, but I am starting with one and will continue to work on adding more over the next couple of months. So far, I have built the set and expanded the trailer–plus a bit of "bedazzling." Overall, this set is near perfection and is now in my top 10 Technic sets. I have attached a photo of the set with a few touches of my own.

As a kid I always built my own tractors and equipment form our parts bin. My parents surprised me one day with #8281 Mini Tractor. As a kid I loved it as it was the first actual Lego tractor that I had resembling a John Deere. Years later I would buy my first set purchased in a long time… the #42054 Claas Xerion 5000. As a Canadian farmer it didn't quite scratch the itch, as there weren't many tractors of this kind in the area, with most of our tractors being John Deere or Case IH. I enjoyed the build and displayed it proudly nonetheless. Then I saw the release of this set. Having worked on and operated this machine in real life, I was over the moon. I really like all the detail that mirrors the real tractor, classic tan colored seat, the headlights, the articulating point, the Starfire 6000 GPS bubble on the roof sticker. As a kid this would have been a dream, and I'm excited to let my kids play with it one day. As for now it resides in my farm office on display! The only thing I wish they would have included is a little GPS screen like the Claas set had to complete the GPS technology look!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So my son already loves John Deere, so the excitement of this technic tractor is high! He put it together in just over an hour, and it is now the top display in his Lego collection. He loves the moving parts, and the fact that it looks like a real miniature John Deere tractor. The main tractor and the back attachment lifts and swivels to simulate real movement. The detail on this set is impressive. Great addition to Lego Technics!

Great. My 10 year old found this online somewhere and wanted to spend his own money to get this set. It was almost $50. I found it on Walmart.com on sale for $28. It arrived quickly, and he couldn't wait to put it together. It kept him fully engrossed for a couple of hours, and now he plays with the tractor and trailer quite often. I asked if he wanted me to take it apart so he could put it together all over again, and he looked at me like I was a madwoman!! Haha.

The John Deere Tractor was realistic and a solid build from Technic that our 5 year old was able to piece together. We added a story about the invention of the tractos for his interest. The gearbox was intricate and interesting for his age group. The dump trailer was also a regularly reused piece to move pieces and boxes. Highly recommend this lego build for kids that enjoy watching things go and having mini construction sites at home.

I bought and made this for my wife as she is obsessed with John Deere tractors. Excellent kit - straightforward to build with easy instructions. The finished product looks great, although dual tyres would look better. Only of the better Technic kits - highly recommended.

Not as good as I would have hoped for. Missing parts. Parts all in every bag so you literally have to open every single bag. My 9yr old was so excited to get this for Christmas after begging for it for a long time and almost a year later he still doesn't have it together because he got so discouraged even with our help.

Arrived so damaged and seller refused refund or replacement. Horrible customer service.
