Trout magnet- good for more than trout
I like the trout magnet line of lures. Great for smallmouth bass. i have had panfish follow it but could not get hooked. Good weight for casting.

Works as advertised. Have not caught anything on it yet. But only Spent about 5 to 10 minutes with it tied on.

Should work on a variety of freshwater species
I bought the rainbow and the brown trout version of this, and have caught many species including trout, crappies, large mouth bass, and pickerels. I bought the shad version to add to my collection. I am sure it will work. The action is decent and it suspend in water. Most importantly it is a lot cheaper than most major brands.
