Easy to use...just pour in washing machine and run on hot water on the normal setting. My whole laundry room smelled great too! Wiped down after with the wipes provided. Did a great job and will definitely use again! Recommended to do once a week but will probably do once a month.

The wipes effortlessly cleaned away dust and debris that not even a warm washcloth could clean. The in-washer cleaner left my washing machine drum smelling fresh and looking new! You don't really think about cleaning and maintaining a washer but its definitely something I will be incorporating into my household cleaning duties for sure!

But unfortunately with a husband, two kids and pets it would be out of control in a day. And my washing machine has taken some abuse. It had a very strong musty smell although it looked like it was clean. I used the lemon citrus smelling Lemi Shine and Lemi left my washing machine smelling so fresh. I bought a top loader a few years ago so I don't see the nasty stuff like I did with my front loader. But I am sure somewhere there where stinky things growing. Washing machine now smells clean again and I am not worried about my clothes coming out smelling musty. BTW I do use vinegar once in awhile to rinse out the machine and lemi shine has it beat.

With all of the new-age washers now, it can be a little daunting trying to clean it! Not anymore. The Lemi Shine Washing Machine Cleaner makes it super easy for everybody. Just open a pouch of powder and sprinkle it in your washer - run on the hottest cycle and thats it. It smells lemon fresh - which I love! The added wipes come in super handy when youre trying to clean under the lip of your washer, thats where a lot of your grime hides.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These packets are really handy and easy to use- just rip off the top, dump in your washer, and run. the powder scent is nice and lemony with a hint of cleaner. The barrel itself doesnt smell like anything after its cleaned though, so your clothes wont take the smell. The wipe wasnt large enough for cleaning the entire rim though. It did clean off the grime easily though! Just wish there were two wipes in a pack!

I just bought this October 19, 2025 because my washing machine on October 18 indicated “clean machine” on the front light up panel. So I was excited to do that as I want to take care of my brand new washer not even two years old yet. I bought this product and used it as instructed. I poured the powder in the drum and washed it on the hot cycle. I'm hoping it cleaned my machine. I have not been able to tell yet because I'm still too busy looking at this discoloration it caused on the seal. If I would've known this was going to happened I would not have used the product. To be honest it feels like the gasket needs to be treated with something now… it feels dry, which means I hope it doesn't start to crack and crumble.
