Lenovo Legion 5i 15.1" OLED WQXGA Laptop, Core i9 14900HX, 16GB, 1TB, NVIDIA® GeForce RTX™ 5070 8GB, 83LY0007US

Had a few issues trying to buy the item for a curbside pickup, they kept canceling my order. But I went into the store and the rollback was available in store. I've been looking for a new laptop, my last one had a 3070. LOVE the 2560x1600 screen resolution. It's fast, every game I've played on it, runs like dream. Totally worth it.

Originally bought this laptop to handle game development work while away from my main setup, and it's been great so far!! The OLED screen is also really nice, but if you're looking into buying this make sure you're careful about leaving the display on while idle for too long since those are more susceptible to burn in compared to regular LED screens.

I did upgrade the RAM to 64G and added some additional HD space, but it's been a beast with handling all my excessive number of tabs, excel sheets, huge construction set PDF files and 3D modeling software all running at once. My only gripe is that the screen is very reflective, which can be difficult in some lighting. However it is a beautiful display.

its awesome, i can play modded minecraft, games like body cam are awesome, the screen looks great, i looked into handheld consoles before this and they sucked, this is an absolute beast and makes gaming on the go or gaming in bed easy as can be, buttery smooth, i own a desktop , i7 14700KF, 4070ti super, and 64bgs of ddr5, this thing cant compete but its just as good

I've been running the 15-inch Lenovo Legion with the Intel i9 processor, and it is an absolute beast. It crushes intensive simulator games and AAA titles on high settings without breaking a sweat or thermal throttling. The build quality feels incredibly solid, the cooling system keeps up beautifully under heavy loads, and the keyboard is top-tier. ​Battery life is short and the fans get loud when the i9 is pushed, but that's the trade-off for desktop-level power on the go. If you want a reliable, high-performance gaming rig, this is it. Highly recommended.

For my use case, it meets my needs. Though, the other Legion 5i with the newer cpu ultra 9 275hx that performs roughly 25% faster than the i9 14900hx in some multithreaded situations. It would hardly be noticed in real world application. Much like comparing two different TV's demonstrated at the store. Without side by side basis of comparisons, the i9 14900hx will be the fastest CPU at home. As for the heat, I've a IETS GT600 laptop cooler, which is more than just a nice to have in my opinion, but rather a must have for any gaming laptop…heat is to be expected, especially with the Legion's slim profile. If I didn't already own a 16gb DDR5 5600 stick of ram. I would have gone for the 32gb for $200 with the ultra 9, since the cost of ram today is ridiculous, resulting in an additional cost if $300. Making this laptop configuration with an older CPU and only 16gb if RAM a less than ideal choice.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely love this product. It can run all the games I have downloaded and it's lightweight plus durable. (It can survive most of my bird attacks) only problem is the warranty. One of my key caps broke and the only way for the warranty to fix it is if I sent my whole computer to replace ONE key. So great product, but they need to work on their warranty.

When i purchased it i wasn't 100% convinced, since i haven't purchased a computer in a while, i was a little bit out of the loop on newer hardware. But this Laptop for me checked all the boxes. Great keyboard to type on, high-quality OLED display. Good performance. It's been fantastic. I have a small handful of complaints. Most are a bit nitpicky. I think the biggest issue with this laptop is the battery life. I'm only getting around 2 and a half hours just web browsing, but i did select the model with the 255HX CPU in it, which i knew was a power-hungry chip. Other models of this laptop with other chipsets may have better battery life, but i can only speak on the 255HX. The other complaint i have, is with the included Lenovo software. (Lenovo Space, Vantage, Now, Etc). The software just isn't as well refined as it could be, and you have multiple different applications for managing the laptop. The non-official Lenovo Toolkit that you can download from GitHub actually combines all of these functions into a single App. Why Lenovo has not done this with their official software tools, i have no idea. It seems to be like they probably should. If i had to buy this machine all over again, there is one change i would make. I purchased the model with only 16gb of ram. That was a mistake. Windows 11 is a ram hungry monster. Do yourself a favor, opt for the 32gb model. You'll be happy you did. Other than that, this machine has been great. I would give it five stars as this has been an excellent Laptop. I really do love this machine. But i just can't give it the full five stars due to the poor battery life and bifurcated Lenovo software. Apart from those two things, i really have no complaints.
