Leverage: The 1st Season (DVD)

Excellent series. Entertaining like a really good movie. Most movies nowadays are not nearly as good as one episode of this TV program. The writing, the characters and their chemistry together, the lack of bad language, gruesomeness, vampires, etc., makes each episode a pleasure to watch. It's definitely a keeper to watch over again and share watching with friends when they come over.

If you are a fan of Leverage, then this DVD is a must have. Not only does it contain extra footage not available in the TV version of the show, the picture quality just really comes alive. I have been watching it just about everyday since I purchased it, and it seems like I always notice something that I missed before. It makes me want to be part of the Leverage team.

With the ever increasing number of reality tv shows taking over the networks, it's nice to see that quality scripted dramas do still exist. This show is witty, intelligent, and equal parts heartfelt and heartpounding action, and gut busting humor. The characters are incredibly likeable and well written and the plotlines have interesting twists that make it different than other shows of this nature. You don't feel like these are stories you've seen a hundred times in a hundred different shows. Its fresh ideas paired with great writing, acting and directing. A killer combo and a definite must see.

I loved timothy hutton he is a great actor and nice looking. but this dvd is great. loved the action and its funny while they try to help people that can't afford help otherwise. i just love watching it. great stories. can't wait til second season is on dvd. i hope other people at least watch it onces.

if you enjoy great teamwork and seeing the bad guys get whats coming to them you will love this series.

Great show, great eason. The sleeve that holds the DVDs is missing. I ordered this with a few other DVDs and they all came in a mailing envelope as opposed to a box, causing damage to other items in the shipment as well. Get it together Walmart! Luckily the DVDs appear to be functional.

I just recently discovered this series. What a Great show. To bad the Producers cut it. I want to buy all 5 episodes. I only found this series because I do not have cable. Paramount had a money maker here, to bad they were so short sighted!

This show is exciting and action-packed. Wonderful performances and engaging scripts sweep you up in the story. Would recommend to anyone!

I caught a couple of episodes of season three and decided to try it out from the begining...This is a fun show with a fun cast that you don't have to take too seriously or follow too closely. Just kick back and enjoy :)
