Do Yourself a HUGE favor!! THIS IS AMAZING!! My 50yr old eyes!! It's like stepping out into nature!! I actually game on this because for toooo long I stared at 14in to 24in monitors and fried my eyes!! I sit about 4ft away and couldn't ask for a more crisp and bright screen!! Sometimes things almost feel 3d they are so Sharp and clear!! YES I would buy this over and over!!
Sharp picture, default screen provides links to major streaming sites (Netflix, Prime, etc). Out of the box sound is fine. Easy to use and comfortable to hold remote works well. 48" screen ways 38 lbs.
I can't believe how thin my new LG ThinQ is. It was so easy to unbox and set up because of the weight. Programming the channels was easy as pie and that is saying a lot for a non-tekkie. I love the clear sharpness of the picture. I know I will enjoy this as much if not more than my LG dryer. I'm all in for LG products and now shopping for a new French door refrigerator.
Phenomenal TV. Sleek, beautiful, and stylish. Nice UI, nice features, great screen. 4k HDR content is awesome. 4k HDR gaming is awesome. The speakers are muddy per usual but thats why I have the lg st90b soundbar!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our new C3 pretty much gives us just what we wanted in moving up to a 4K TV. It's a 65-inch but fits perfectly in same spot that our previous 55-inch was in because of the virtually bevel-less design. It's all screen, and it's a beautiful screen. The finish is very reflective of strong light when not turned on, but such reflections aren't noticeable when it's on (and we do almost all of out TV watching at night in low light anyway). The default picture settings seem about right for most content we've watched so far, so I haven't played too much with those settings yet. We pipe the audio through an excellent 5.1 home theater system so the TV speakers aren't used at all. I've read reviews saying the stand allows the set to wobble but we haven't seen that at all, even though the TV table it's standing on is against a staircase and alongside a high-traffic area. Overall -- and especially for the price -- it's a pleasure to watch.
The picture looks great from all angles, and the sound is good without add ons. And if you don't like it, there are about five other options for both sound and picture. lt's probably standard now days, but the only audio out is digital optical, requiring an adapter for older audio amplifiers with RCA jacks.
The remote is a joke it's like pointing a laser for your cat not accurate. The customer service is so excruciating it's pathetic. It took me over 1.5 hours just to get to watch the darn thing. It wouldn't hook up through the phone or the app. Definitely isn't just plug in and enjoy I'm already regretting the time I have to move it and re-hook it back up hope it doesn't take over 1.5 hours. The menu is a lot of word salad and alphabet soup so are the directions I believe they must have been written by a toddler. Graphics are horrific. It should not take this long just to watch television. This is all on management all thru care about is the shareholders
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Have had this model for about 3 years and this will be the 3rd time it has had to go in for repair. although the quality of picture is superb its reliability is sketchy. The tv is properly cared for no children or pets can get to it. even the remote control had to be replaced. So without a tv again.
My tv has died less than 3 months into owning it. It has been used less than daily, meaning only a few hours a week. It's really pathetic. I have the red blinking light. I have left it unplugged for an hour, held the power button, unplugged all wires, still dead. This is a terrible tv to have failed in less than 3 months. I want my money back - this is garbage.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] DO NOT BUY THIS TV IF YOU WANT TO USE AN EXTERNAL SPEAKER! While the picture is great, the sound control (software?) will MAKE YOU NUTS!!! It randomly changes the sound output. Sometimes the external speaker will work, sometimes not. Or it will randomly switch. This happens with both HDMI ARC and Optical. No need to believe just me. Read the reviews and blogs. It is NOT just me. LG, you need to figure this stuff out!
