Lg Oled Tv is a great product. It takes your viewing on next level with its amazing colours and picture quality. Everybody should try an Lg Oled Tv once in lifetime.
UNBOXING AND FIRST IMPRESSIONS The unboxing experience was positive, it comes in an easily removed box/packaging and can be done by one person, although it would be easier with two. Once out the box, my first impression was Wow! The top 2 thirds of the screen are impossibly thin, and even on the lower third, where all the electronics and connections are, it doesn't get that much thicker. Most of the connections are on the left-hand edge, with the power cable coming out on the right. PICTURE QUALITY This was amazing! Being OLED, the blacks are inky black, but what amazed me was how bright it gets. I had heard OLEDs don't get very bright, but I was blown away. While watching a 4k Blu-ray of Star Trek, the ships details were bright and clear, while the surrounding space was ultra dark. After a bit of fiddling, I got the skin tone to be as accurate as looking at someone face-to-face. I had to turn off most of the AI and Auto functions, as they made everything too vivid and over-saturated for my eyes, but once setup, I was so happy. Motion is dealt with very too, with no blurring that I could see, so sports look great. I have heard the screen is really good for PC and console gaming, but I haven't tried that. SOUND This was probably the weakest aspect of the TV. For an LCD/OLED, it was actually impressive at first, but there's not much bass, although the sound is nicely balanced. No amount of fiddling would let it sound anywhere near the quality of my fairly low-end Sony soundbar though, so I won't be using the in-built speakers SMART FEATURES This was another aspect that really impressed me. The WebOS platform is quite mature now and the interface is quick and easy to use, with all the apps I need available. The remote, while fairly plasticky, is a joy to use, with the gyro 'mouse' making navigating to apps much quicker than just scrolling left and right. I have noticed no slow-down with the interface yet. In fact, I will probably be retiring my nVidia Shield and just using the TV from now on, which I was not expecting. All-in-all, this is by far the best TV I have ever used, and I would recommenbd it to anyone.
I recently upgraded to the 77-inch LG C4 OLED TV, and it has been a game-changer for my home entertainment setup. As someone who loves watching movies, sports, and gaming, I was looking for a TV that could deliver top-notch picture quality, and the C4 OLED did not disappoint. The first thing that caught my attention was the stunning display. The 4K resolution, combined with the OLED's perfect blacks and vibrant colors, makes everything look incredibly lifelike. Whether I'm watching a blockbuster movie or playing the latest video games, the picture quality is consistently breathtaking. The HDR performance is outstanding, with deep contrast and bright highlights that really pop. Another standout feature is the size. At 77 inches, this TV is truly immersive. It feels like having a movie theater in my living room. Despite the large screen, the thin bezels and sleek design make it a beautiful addition to the space. The C4 OLED is also packed with smart features. The WebOS interface is easy to navigate, and I love how quickly I can switch between streaming services like Netflix, Disney+, and Prime Video. The remote control's point-and-click functionality adds to the convenience, making it simple to find exactly what I want to watch. For those who have never experienced an OLED TV before, the LG C4 is an excellent introduction. The picture quality is unmatched, the smart features are intuitive, and the overall viewing experience is phenomenal. I highly recommend it to anyone looking to elevate their home entertainment setup.
5 stars all the way! We love our 83 inch and can not fault it!
I will never go back to a normal LCD or QLED after witnessing this TV with my own eyes. It is an amazing TV! 5/5 10/10 highest ratings from me.
The 77-inch LG OLED evo AI C4 4K Smart TV is simply spectacular. The picture quality is stunning, with deep blacks, vibrant colors, and incredible clarity that make every scene come to life. The AI-enhanced features are intuitive and enhance the viewing experience seamlessly. The smart TV interface is user-friendly, offering a wide range of apps and easy connectivity options. The sleek design adds a touch of elegance to any room. Whether watching movies, sports, or gaming, this TV delivers an immersive experience like no other. Highly recommend!
When I ordered this C Series I was sceptical if I should I buy another LG OLED tv, as how could they improve such a nice tv. However I did go ahead and buy this LG OLED C4 series and when it did arrive I wasn't really impressed with the look of the packaging as it didn't give me much excitement to look at a plain box, it could have been more colourful and printed but I guess to save the environment it came without any colours. After setting up the TV, I realised that the sound quality has improved so much, by this I mean the depth of sound and at low volume it just sounded so loud. Also the picture quality is very impressive too, it just looks crystal clear and there are different presets available for different viewings. The brightness is very good and impressive along with the HDR setting which sets it alight from other tv's that I've used. The viewing angles from the sides is just as impressive as looking from the front as the colours don't fade. The good thing about this tv is that it has 4 hdmi ports which are all 144 hertz and are good for gamers along with the dashboard that can be used while playing so I could change the settings to suit the game I am playing. The remote for this tv is similar to the previous model I had and it looks too plastic and cheap but it does have good functions as the pointer is helpful when I want to select things and it also has a scrawler along with one touch buttons to some regular apps that I use to watch films. This tv also supports Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos and that makes a lot of difference when watching certain programs and playing games. However there are a few things that I'm not really impressed with that they could have changed from the previous model I had and that was the power cable which is set permanent and can't be made long so it could be short from your socket and also the ports are all on one side of the tv as before they were split on the back and some on the left side to connect your devices. The rear design of the tv doesn't feel premium as it has a cement type effect which is very rough and not smooth to touch at all. The remote could have been changed to make it feel more premium such as adding metal or titanium as it feels too plastic and cheap. Since using this tv there are too many updates and it just feels annoying to wait while the tv is updating but at least it feels like the updates will make the experience better so it's worthwhile doing these frequently. Fantastic tv overall.
There was a sharp intake of breath when the TV was delivered, its big! We was initially nervous about handling it and fitting on the wall - we needn't have been, it was super easy and not as heavy as anticipated - truly plug and play. Thought had also gone into the positions of the sockets in the rear, and the side for the HDI cables etc.... Easily accessible. Very minimum setup, plugged the TV in and updated the system and the apps. Time from unpacking disconnecting original TV to being sat down with the new TV fully setup watching our fantastic early Christmas present no more than 1.5 hours. The sound is superb, we found the sound better on the TV than our soundbar, the interface on the home screen is intuitive and easy to use, picture quality exceptional. The big USP's for me was; Plug & Play User friendly home screen and interface Sound quality Picture quality Sockets on side of TV in addition to the rear
I bough this bigger 77” for our living room already having the 65” in the bedroom. This TV has the most vivid and natural looking motion picture I've seen. Colours are true and not over boosted - the remote control is a dissapointment. Feels and looks cheap and plasticky. The motion sensor in it is not accurate as much as my 7 years old LG to remote. However apart from the remote I have nothing else to add on the down side. The sound is quite clear and perfect for movies and watching tv in general. If you're listening to lots of music is worth considering a sound bar. I have to also mention the ultra thin bezel. It is made from brushed metal and looks very premium
I recently purchased this 42-inch “top of the range” television with high expectations, given the marketing hype and premium positioning. Unfortunately, while it looks impressive on paper, the overall experience has been surprisingly underwhelming. First, the absence of a mute button on the remote control is baffling. For a flagship model, omitting such a basic and universally used function feels like a major oversight. Adjusting the volume down manually every time you need silence is inconvenient and unnecessarily frustrating. Second, one of the inbuilt apps — and one that I use regularly — consistently relocates itself from the main selection list. This means repeatedly searching for it or reorganising the interface. For a supposedly premium smart TV, the user interface should feel seamless and intuitive, not unpredictable. Most disappointing of all, despite all the marketing promises, the television itself is very ordinary. The picture quality is fine, but not exceptional. The sound is adequate, but nothing remarkable. There's nothing about the viewing experience that justifies the “top of the range” label or price point. In summary, while the television functions adequately, it falls well short of expectations for a flagship model. Basic usability issues combined with a very average overall performance make it hard to recommend at its premium price.
