LG 12,000 BTU High Efficiency Dual Inverter Window Air Conditioner with Wi-Fi and LCD Remote, 115V, LW1224IVSM

I bought this for my living room and so far it has lived up to expectation. I love how it lets you know when the filter needs cleaning. I also love that I can control the air conditioner with my app no matter where I am. I have used this feature many times.

The initial assembly was confusing and the tabs for bottom of the sliding closures should not be plastic but metal that is already part of the frame. Other than that, the unit is a very efficient unit that cools well and the sleep mode is really quiet. I highly recommend this unit.

the unit is quiet and cools nicely it is not super quiet but still quiet enough to allow sleep cooling is good cold air is not super cold but good but L G customer service is not good

The unit is very quiet and cools very efficiently . There are many features which are easily controlled with the included remote.

Next to impossible to install. Parts missing and did not fit. We had to break a part to get it to fit.

I had such high hopes for this thing. high btu to cool my whole downstairs. but not only does it require 2 people to lift it, I couldn't even put it together! then I started thinking even if I do put this which I never did figure out then I have to take it in and out of the window each year? craziness. I don't ever want to see that ac again. thank goodness they took it bacl with no problem. and for the price point it should come put together for one and secondly with some sort of brace because this thing is huge. unfortunately I can't really speak on operational matters.

I like how quiet it is and the ease of use with the phone. What I don't like is that the inverter was not attached to the brawe'll. Inside the unit it was just laying on the fan motor. Quality control at the manufacturing was not there. I purchased 3 of these units. 1 went back for a refund the other 2 after doing some work I kept. I cannot recommend these A/C's because of the quality control.

8500 BTU (rated %231 window AC of 2025), with settings at highest %26 temp at lowest (60 degrees) and it still doesn't cool down 150 sq ft rm!!! LG sent a tech to my house who took a pic of back of AC from outside on the ground. And a pic of front of AC in my house. That's it. Didn't open front cover. Didn't look at the way it was put in.
