Window Air Conditioner Installation (220 Volt Units)

First time using service. Never received email with details. Made process very frustrating. Finally located proper customer service chat. Everything went fine after that. Guys who installed our AC were wonderful. Walmart needs to better communicate about its Angi services. Was at a real loss looking for help at WM website.

I thought I paid $95 for an installation and I hope and pray when I look back at the ordered it is not been charged off my card because if it is we're going to have a problem we're going to have to pay me back the $95 cuz I had to install it myself and I'm pretty upset about it

Finally, help is out there for things we can't lift or balance or know how to install, like the single bedroom air conditioner! I was so glad that it literally was just a box you had to check, just like the Allstate insurance coverage. I had a TV I bought months ago, still sitting in the box and he hooked it up also.

installation was definitely not what we expected,had to help install it, and the installer drilled holes for screws in top of my new A/C because he said they sent the wrong screws. Serviceman didnt caulk around the new A/C and told me I would have to do that myself. He used box packaging under the A/C instead of the included insulation that he found later on. If the plug had been different he talked about using the old plug and cutting the new plug off and wiring it up that way. Bad Experience.

The delivery of my air conditioning window unit didn't arrive until late afternoon.The installer showed up early in the morning to install the ac that did not arrive yet.He said he was coming back at five thirty and he did not come back.I did not pay for this for it.Not to be installed

The window air conditioner installer was utterly incompetent. After inspecting the installation after the installer left, I determined that the installation was not done according to specifications and the air conditioner is not securely anchored in the window. I will never Angi again for any task. They do not, in my opinion, properly vet the people they send out to do various tasks. You may get lucky with someone who is competent, but on the other hand, you may get someone who has little experience and no training at all. Good luck!

I got a call from Pro Michael OHearn previous night that he was coming. I took the day off without pay so I would be there for install. He never showed. I called him and he said Angi cancelled the service and rescheduled. I called Angi and they said he cancelled. I called him again and he said he is cutting grass and not busy. He could have done it but Angi cancelled. I lost out on a day of pay because of this. Angi didn't care. They refunded me the install but didn't help with me missing a day of pay because someone was lying. I can't stand dishonesty. Stay away from any Angi Service. Walmart didn't want to hear anything from me either. I talked to someone from outside of the country who was hard to understand but they just kept saying sorry. Didn't help at all

received my order late due to it being delayed, opened box to see smashed coils, then after the person from Angi spent 2.5 hour's installing the window unit, she turned it on and it didnt work, would make a few gurgling noises then shut off. I was refunded for the ac until with no hassle, but the installation was non refundable. The part that really upset me was I had to find someone to carry the unit from my top floor to my vehicle, because they wont have someone pick it up, only deliver it. I did find an employee taking in carts who was able to remove it from the vehicle and put in a cart so I could get it inside the store, customer service was very pleasant, and quick to return my money back to my account. I was in and out within 10 mins.

Appointment was made for install the next day. After we prepared everything for the install just a few minutes before the appointment we received an email from Angi to reschedule the install. The price of the install was higher than necessary. I'd dealt with Angi twice before getting the same treatment having to find my own contractor to do the job, and at much cheaper rates!

Assigned installer never showed. No where was it stated you “need” to download the app my installer canceled. I wasn't aware that it was canceled until an hour after the time they were supposed to arrive. No phone call or email to let me know appointment was canceled. Just reassigned it to someone else or another date.I had to download the app. I finally get into the app to find out. It was reassigned for another installer on a date a week later, and I can contact that person.
