GREAT television, perfect size at 60 inches for our large den. All mounting was easily done, but the mount was already placed because of our other tv. So far we love it. And for the money......cannot be beat!
This LG is wonderful! Great price for 2020 model. Easy to set up, great picture and awesome audio. We would definitely recommend.
My first flat screen purchase. Wonderful picture and speakers are so good a sound bar isn't necessary for regular tv programming. My research paid off big time. My only complaint is the instruction manual is virtually useless. I had to use my a I pad to learn how to set the tv up and to learn I needed an hdmi cable from my cable box to the tv. I give the tv performance 5 stars and the manual 0.
Great improvement over our old Hitachi back screen TV 720 resolution. But best points were the price and delivery., very reasonable and delivered right on time. The LG packaging was so secure, could have withstood a 10 foot drop.
I purchased this 3 days ago and am pleased with the quality and ease of installation. Using the remote and adjusting the TV volume is tricky. There appears to be a narrow focus point of connecting and something that I have to get used to. Other than that, I am very happy with my purchase.
My kid threw her game controller at our 60" HDTV so I was looking for a replacement of similar size. I was surprised to find a 4K TV at this size and price, cheaper than I paid for the HDTV 7 years ago! I'm a little annoyed at the slow startup time. Sometimes when I try to switch from live TV to an app the screen shows pink static then the TV reboots. It also comes with 1000 "free" LG channels, which are just ads for pay channels, but you can disable these in the settings. It looks fine and you can download apps for all the major streaming services. It's easy to switch apps but popping them up at the bottom of the screen.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this Tv early January good price for the set but still having a hard time getting the picture quality Just right.
Thought I did my homework but they got me on this! My research convinced me I wanted a wide viewing angle ability offered with the IPS display panel and I assumed all the TVs in the UN7000 series were outfitted with it. I was initially looking at the 55” model but ultimately decided to get the 50” due to being preferred size for room. Turned out the 50” UN7000 is the only tv in the 7000 series lineup that DOES NOT have IPS display panel! I failed to notice that the box didn't indicate have IPS display, I assumed that being a 7000 series it would - WRONG! The 43” does, the 55” does, so does the 65” but not the 50” - why would LG decide to not use IPS on the 50” model? Makes no sense and I'm a little miffed at missing out on this option when for a few $ more I could've bought the 55” version that had it. The viewing angle on the 50” is very poor, just a slight off center viewing results in major/unacceptable color loss so if you need to watch it from any location other than straight on, make sure you buy the 43”, 55” or 65” versions instead and avoid this one.
I can't give a good review of this TV as I never even opened the box. I had purchased the same model in a 43" screen, had set it up a couple days before this one arrived, and found its picture to be very lacking so decided to return this one untouched. I had no reason to believe the larger one would be any better.
The TV arrive with a broken screen. I have been trying to get it picked up and get a refund. I am very disappointed this happened and now I have to wait for a week to 10 days for my refund from when ever the TV is picked up.
