Although it is a **** model, the price was low enough to justify purchasing an older model. The picture quality is great, and the sound is good as well. The only downside is that there is no option for adjusting the TV height (TV stand). Other models have this option. I'm satisfied with the purchase. I recommend it. This **** LG is better than a current Hisense model from the 8 series. (Both were priced the same.)
Fantastically brilliant blacks make every other color pop! We LOVE everything about this awesome OLED big screen. And it's generally good built in sound system. EXCEPT the REMOTE. Any remote that complex should have much better human engineering. Button locations are not strategic at all. And worse, it doesn't have internal lighting - we have to fumble for a flashlight even to adjust the volume. Who at LG approved a remote for that wonderful TV that difficult to use.
Got the 65” and the panel is gorgeous. Brightness is decent for my medium-bright room. HDMI ports 3 and 4 have full bandwidth 4k 120hz/HMDI 2.1 support and the other ports support 4k 60hz/HDMI 2.0. If you've been waiting for an excuse to get an OLED, this is it.
Great picture!!! Best 65” tv for under $1000. The processor is fast runs apps well no bogging down and no stuttering. And this TV is mega thin. I was worried about LG's operating system for apps and such, because I am used to google tv. But I am very impressed, not as good as google tv but close.
Great tv, just the magic remote only works sometimes, but that doesnt change the quality of the tv, I didnt even know it had it until I was moving the remote around then I saw a pointer moving around as I was moving it around! Really cool feature, just wish it worked more often, but again that doesnt change anything about the tv. Great operating system, was so use to using roku so was hard for me to make the swap, but glad I did!
The on screen set-up was not intuitive. I still can't get it to work with my surround sound Yamaha receiver. When I did get the surround sound to work there was just a black screen. I have to listen to the TV speakers. Worked fine on the TV I had before. Also the bluetooth doesn't work with my Bose 35 QCll headphones. I got it to work but it won't stay connected. Won't automatically connect when the headphones are connected. I don't want to use the LG IP channels because I have a set top box, but you can't delete that app. My living room TV is a LG also. Works fine with our Denon receiver.
Tv was broken and wasn't not offered a replacement until 7 days after ????? That literally makes no sense if the order came broken I shouldn't need to wait especially after spending so much money on it for the holidays
Although the color and definition is great on the tv, the interface is extremely confusing. I hate trying to navigate the “smart” features and just ended up connecting it to a fire stick. If given the choice, I'd return it.
The magic controller is the worst remote ever to exist in this universe...more like black magic! The tv looks good but other than that it does not allow you to turn off the screen while watching you tube...my $200 vizio allows me to shut my screen off while watching youtube..so your telling me Lg and youtube have a partnership and they wont allow you to shut your screen off unless you have youtube premium..this is a massive over step..if i pay over 1k dollars on a tv I dont need a stupid free app dictating what I can do with my 60 inch screen. Speaking of screen it wont let you change the aspect ratio it only allows you to do this on there lg channel...not on any other section where youd want to use it like on youtube ..once again if you are watching a video on youtube that has a water mark and you try to get rid of it by expanding the picture all because this tv is an oled and your doing this to avoid any static image burn in..well Lg doesnt allow this..or if you are playing a game on your ps5 or xbox and you just want to make the screen bigger for the same previouse reason or just to experience a larger picture for your game Lg wont allow you to do this...so do not waste your money on this masssive expensive junk
The tv came damaged and broken the screen was cracked and bent couldn't get it to turn on you would think for such an expensive tv there wouldn't be this kind of issue
