LG DVD Player with USB Direct Recording - DP132

Perfect size to fit under the TV without the cats been able to kick it down of the shelf. Love that I can see all the Disney movies that I have in the comfort of my living room. Even the cats enjoy watching movies from time to time. Good price for the DVD. Easy installation and smooth playing movies.

I thought I'd give this one a try, since it was so reasonable and also had the usb port feature. I'm a senior and it was actually easy peesy to set up..plug n play. Works great! I moved close to a library and now I can play all the really kewl old dvds they have there! Nice break from all the same tired things on cable tv.

Basic..... Small...... Works well.... Setup: Plug in the red/yellow/white cord from tv to dvd player...... Place power cord into wall receptacle, 110, normal USA wall outlet..... Enjoy! Sized small, fits into "keyboard" pull out drawer, as I don't use that 'shelf' on my desk .... Minimal hookups that are hidden (I hate dangling cords!).... Dimensions given on AD Remote comes complete with batteries This is the 2nd unit I have purchased, because I was so pleased with the first one... (Going on 6 months, no issues).... Does NOT play BLUERAY..... Pictures on a disk of your family will run thru too, which is a nice addition at a family reunion, gives the tiny tots something to LOOK at, without the noise for the adults trying to converse.

I bought 3 of these. One for each daughter and one for the family room. Daughters are very happy with theirs. I haven't hooked the family room one up yet. Girls (teens) said they were very easy to hook up and use. They loved that they play music cds too. So far we're very satisfied with the quality especially since they were very inexpensive to buy.

If you're looking for a bare bones DVD player this is the one for you. After repeated attempts with wifi capable, app loaded, blu ray playing expensive players that would last maybe a year, I decided to go back to basics and I'm satisfied with this DVD player.

As an avid online shopper, I rely heavily on the reviews of others. So after using this little dynamo for a couple of weeks, I feel the need to sing it's praises. Walmart Shipping Pass got my item to me quickly, as promised, in two days. The unit is smaller than expected but a great space-saver. It's only playing a small DVD... so why do DVD players need to be so large in the first place?! This device is beyond efficient. It began playing one of my older DVDs that I hadn't even touched in over a year, and picked up exactly where I'd stopped watching it! I'm not talking about top of the scene, I mean exact! So it's lightweight, precise, and great quality, at THIS price - it's a no-brainer. I'm going to purchase a second one as backup or for a gift. Also, I sprung for the warranty too. I like that Walmart offers this feature. Now my device is registered online and should something go wrong, I'm covered. For all that you save on the sticker price, go ahead and splurge on the warranty.

No color and horrible picture. I f someone from Walmart can’t help me then I am returning.

unhappy with this product I purchased this along with another which when reading the descriptions between the two. l thought I was purchasing two completely different products. when they arrived: the only difference was one came with a remote control. When I tried to return both products. I was only allowed to return the one with the remote control which: DOES NOT HAVE AN OPTION FOR AN EJECTION BUTTON. It may be a little thing but, that is key for me. This review probably will not be shown. Unhappy Customer :-(

Was very disappointed with the quality of this product. Bought to replace a Sony unit that lasted 4 yrs in kids room. I know this is an in-expensive unit but so was the Sony at the same price point which worked just fine until it fell and broke. This LG unit was disappointing. The audio level seemed to be very very low so the tv volume had to be extremely high so if you forget to turn it down before switching back to tv or cable you get blasted by loud audio. But the biggest problem with the unit was poor laser quality. We rented two movies and used one from home granted they weren't brand new disks but they were almost perfect condition and this unit would skip with all the disks. It didn't just skip a few seconds either it jumped to the next scean on all the movies. I'm a fan of lg but was very dissatisfied with this product.

Bought this dvd player, hooked it up and was getting ready to watch my Walking dead video, when everything was in black and white. Tried another of my videos and they are also in black and white. Needless to say its going back and I will get a better quality dvd player. Thank you!
