Sound is good volume not as loud as I was expecting but works out . Battery life is good .

The speaker has terrific and clear sound, and the neat LED color lighting is nice, but can be turned off (and will improve battery life by doing so), but do not put techno or EDM though this baby, those more aggressive kick drums can kill this speaker over time. LG really should have put a limiter in this thingThe workaround is to not run the volume past 50%, but then it is not much of a party speaker but a personal use thing instead. Bass goes down well past 40Hz, which is bloody impressive for a portable boombox of any kind, not even the common studio monitors with 5-6inch subwoofers achieve bass that deep, forget anything studio oriented with subwoofers as small as the P7's. Trebles reach for the sky, and the midrange is fine, though has a narrow 4kHz 5dB boost to keep it from sounding more balanced (any other speaker fares worse except the discontinued Ultimate Ears Blast model, which has flat, studio-worthy sound). Easy to EQ, but most folks won't care for this tidbit and may not even notice anyway. Another big plus is being able to charge the speaker with any modern USB charger. There's even a 3.5mm input, an essential feature that is sadly missing from competing speakers, increasing the P7's versatility. Highly recommended, with a caveat. The alternative may be the Sony stuff, or Ultimate Ears if you don't mind losing the 3.5mm input, that's about the only gear out there in the same league of sound quality.

i love the speaker and sound decent for the price and it's not loud outside and i also love the light on the speaker you can change the light mode through the LG Boom app

It's ok all around. I was hoping it would be louder.

the item did not work, and I was told to contact Seller (Eagletech) who advised me they had no other stock for a replacement. They advised they would credit my account $30 for a new battery, which i ordered. However, the seller could not give me any instructions as to how to install the new battery. at this point, I'm out $60
