As I said I love these they have a really decent image quality so simple to put these in just about any small space and they have taken the work out out getting these up and running in no time and if you have a metal service where you are going to be putting them for me I have metal posts where I wanted these so mounting them took me maybe 30 seconds so for me I will be getting two more of these you just can't go wrong with them.

I love these cameras, but the battery doesn't last very long in my neighborhood cause they get a lot of clips so I run a constant power wire to them which isn't hard to do and not very expensive but besides that they work great and they're very versatile with their mounting awesome picture awesome wide angle and sound

The only reason I bought this camera was because I had nest before and google buys everything. The yearly charge is to much but it is what is . Camera is great so far. Lasted over 2 months before needed charged.

Just follow the instructions on the Google Home app. I placed mine outside near the entrance to my basement. It was easy to install as it took a couple of screws, and you are set. It picks up people and animals as they walk by. The clarity is very good as well.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my second Nest cam. We have a wired indoor cam and this battery indoor/outdoor cam. As you can see from the photos, the live picture is very clear and sharp. One was taken at dusk, while the other was taken in complete darkness. The setup of the camera with the Home app was simple and easy. The sensors on the cam are sensitive and pickup motions quickly and the cam begins taping. In the setup, you have multiple choices of what notifications you wish to receive, such as vehicles, animals, persons, etc. I purchased an annual subscription to Nest Aware, so event history would be accessible for 30 days before being deleted. Otherwise, the cam only stores 3 hours of history at a time before resetting. Google has created and easy to use app and high quality camera.

It has a wider range of view than all other security cameras that I've previously used, and its unbelievably simple to install since you don't need to worry about wiring it up. It has great picture quality even at night due to it's advanced night vision capability. I love the ultra user friendly interface through the app, it notifies me about everything I do want to know about and nothing that I don't. This is really a top quality security device.

Very easy to setup and use. Magnet is very strong. Pretty good angle of view. Overall very nice! You can't put a price tag on a piece of mind!

History only records events and not continuously even with a solar panel to keep the battery fully charged. If you want a continuous history then you need to buy the wired version. Also, the resolution is OK but less than the wired version which is real good. The Nest app is still available but automatically switches you to Google Home (with no option). I preferred the Nest app. I wish I could go back and use it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It has good video and nice range. It will alert if motion detected. I had a few problems setting up. I was used to Apple products and am working now on a Samsung tablet - so probably operator error. I only have one Google nest cam and didn't have any other devices in Google Home. When you view the camera, it shows battery life- right now mine is on 76% or 3 weeks. It estimates it on usage, weather and camera activity. (got the indoor/outdoor) Currently use indoor. Video can sense motion and record it. Can view histroy and send notification if it senses a person. The microphone will pick up voices and noises and you can speak through the nest camera. I have been playing with the magnetic part of it. I stuck to my refrigerator, a 3 hole punch, and a metal wall art.

This camera really has not worked in the way I was used to on a nest outdoor camera. It never saw a car in my driveway until it was parallel with the camera. The clips were so small you could not tell if a car stayed or left so it was not useful. You can extend the clip times, but then the battery would need to be changed more often. My plugged in camera which was further away than the battery camera watch caught more than the battery camera. It is easy to put up and so wish it had worked better.
