This game was more fun than I've had as an adult in quite some time! The instructions are simple enough for a ten-year-old to comprehend and the object of the game is not at all complicated. The cards are made of a good quality material and they seem water proof and aren't easy to bend. The case is good enough quality to hope to store the game cards in for the entire life of the game, and the price was very reasonable. This game is great for parties or get togethers and would even make a great gift to the party host. There is no content offensive enough to prevent teenagers from enjoying the game as well.
We love playing all kinds of card games with the family. The grandchildren often prefer games and puzzles to their electronics, which is great, of course. We got Liar Liar to add to the library of options. After reading the instructions and looking at the pre-wrapped contents of the box, I gotta tell ya, I was pretty unclear about how to play. So I looked up “how to play” videos and that indicated more materials than I thought were included. Turns out there is actually four sets of cards in the box packaged as three. That helped immensely. After watching the videos it all made sense. The suggested age for players is 10+. I think that might be a bit young unless you are dealing with pretty mature children. The concept of intentionally telling untruths is difficult for some to grasp. While we have not had a chance yet to play it with an all adult team, I think it will make for a hilarious evening. This is a really fun game that you can play for an hour or more without losing the attention of the younger players. And it's more immediately gratifying than Monopoly. Lol. It also will reveal which of the players are the best liars, so you can keep an eye on them in the future! It is surprising how quickly the 10 plus crowd become expert fibbers.
This game is absolutely the best!!! Super fun with a few people or the kids...we have had a blast in the evenings playing it! We all love playing it! It's so much fun and hilarious at times! Especially when you have the kids playing! This game is fun for everyone! Whether you are playing with the kids for a game night with them, or you have friends over for a game night it is perfect for both! I am sure people who drink and play games like this for a game night would have a blast, especially if it's a night where no one is planning on driving so they are free to drink as much as they want with no worries, Lord I can only imagine the answers and the fun to be had!!! We love this as a family game and I am sure it would be great for any crowd!!!
This game is perfect for a family or friend gathering! Played it with my nieces and sister in law and we couldn’t stop laughing. Also learned a ton about each other and got some funny stories along the way. It also moves quickly which is good for younger players.
This game is super fun. Great for the family gatherings this holiday season or game night any time. Easy to learn. We thoroughly enjoyed playing this game.
We played this over Christmas with our teenagers, who were, of course, hesitant to play something new that mom and dad wanted to play. But they ended up loving it! The rules were easy and the game was so much fun!!
Liar liar is a fun game to play with a group. Especially if you have some known storytellers. The idea is use your gut to decide if someone is lying to telling the truth to the card they have. My only issue with the cards is that they are so small!
Liar liar would be a perfect family game night game to play with a bottle of wine or beer. You each tell a fact/lie and the rest of the players vote to decide who is telling the lie.
I've played this a couple times, and I've found it more fun to play with more than 4 players. Larger groups seem to bring more creativity to the game.
Looks like a very fun game... that is if you can tell when someone is lying 😉 I think my crowd will really enjoy this game! Can't wait to play with them.
