A smarter design for emergency road flares.

I haven't had a use for them as of yet, however, I tried all 3 to ensure they worked.... I wanted to have a safety, travel kit on hand for camping, picnics, hiking and/or a rafting trip I was planning to bring some children along... I intend to bring my kids with me for a 1st time trip down the river! I am confident everything will be fine,I've lived along the Delaware almost all my life, we won't be needing these, however, after the 1st few deaths turned into a Dozen, within a 2 week timeframe... I don't mind over doing the safety measures... just a little... We just might save a life!!! Living along the river we will most likely be doing this more frequently now they are getting older... they all work and should do fine for basic uses... I would've liked a travel case or so to hold the set after opening, but if they hold up with my other useful dry bag, they will be worth the few dollars they cost me!!! Safety and Security are a must and these are great, especially if needed for help immediately!!! I know that we will be safe and/ or save another person's life! That is irreplaceable... I would definitely recommend and would buy again for that purpose!

I purchased these AFTER we had to stop and change a tire on our camper.....never had given a thought about packing flares for our road trip. The package includes the batteries, and they appear bright. Good deal for the price! We are now better prepared!

Nice product, but out of the three flares did not work. Walmart quickly gave me a refund. Excellent Walmart customer service!

Not as bright as I thought it would be but it will be useful to keep in your car. I wanted it to use for brightness when camping but its not bright enough for me.

I always renew my maritime flares with Wal Mart so when my regular incendiary type expired, I figured I would upgrade to the LED type as I had heard about on various fishing forums. I ordered them from the web page that had the regular marine flare offerings on it, thinking these were USCG approved. These are not labeled as maritime use signaling devices, so I'll either take em back or put em in the car for highway use. I'll probably stick with the incendiary type for the boat at the moment.

Of the three... One didn't work, one worked intermittently turning itself on %26 off then died permanently after 15 minutes, and the 3rd worked perfectly for almost an hour then died. The switching under the plastic is hair thin.

You wouldn't ship them to me....!!!!!!
