GREAT weights -- FIVE STAR
VERY happy with this purchase. Great quality and perfect to avoid damaging wooden floors where I use these. No significant smell or other bad qualities noticed. Would DEFINITELY recommend these and will buy some of the same as need for more weight occurs.

Nice, but smell like burnt rubber
The plates are nice and have a good grip, but smell like burnt rubber. They were good value for the money.

Nice Plates/Terrible Smell
Purchased two sets of 5lb rubber grip plates and 2.5 lb plates. Although I like the design and functionality of the plates, they smell is HORRIBLE. I opened the boxes and left the plates overnight in the garage. By the morning, I could not stand being in the garage. The plates give off a super-strong putrid cigarette smoke smell that makes you nauseous. I have left them outside in the yard for two weeks and spray them daily with lemon cleaning spray. They still smell. Have already purchased new plates from another vendor. Will try to sell these/give away on Craigslist. Lesson learned.
