Not very strong scents. The lava-like feature is kinda cool if you move the pen around. You cannot write on an angle or it won't work. Pretty colors, though.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] While these looks like a cute gift, they are more gimicky than functional. The scent only appears when sniffing the pen directly and is very light. The weight and thickness of the pen make it hard to control, compared to a standard pen. I like that you get two pens in a pack and they are different scents, however, I'd still choose my favorite pens over this. They didn't not smear, but I felt the pink pen was not vivid enough compared to BIC Energel or Inkjoy colored pens. I would give these as a gift to someone, probably a teenager, but would not re-purchase for my own use.
